The Last Words In My Mind

We had a fight today
And it was all my fault
My jealosy got the best of me
And it tore us apart
I went to a party
To forget about you
I tried to have fun
But kept turning blue
I had a lot to drink there
But you were still on my mind
So I smoked some cigarettes
Just to pass the time
As I see everyone smiling
I think how happy we would be
But I broke your heart today
And now you won't even talk to me
I started walking down the road
Because the party's over
I wouldn't stumble into the street so much
If only I were sober
As I think back about today
How the tears ran down your face
I stepped in the road again
And a truck came from no place
It hit me hard
It was more pain than you'll ever know
But my thoughts are still of you
As I lay here and die real slow
I think about your smile
And I think about your kiss
But it's the look when I said I love you
That I will always miss
I think about your laugh
And I think about your touch
I can't stop thinking about you
Because I love you so much
I see a crowd gather
And a pool of blood slowly grows
I wan't you to know i'm sorry
But i'm dieing and you'll never know
I feel my heartbeat slow
As it lets my body die
I'd shed a tear for our love
But in my heart it will never die
My heart just stopped
And my body's growing cold
My mind start's to blur
A memory of you is all it can hold
As I let go of my last breath
My thought's are still of you
Everything just went black
I hope god will let you know
The last words in my mind were I love you.

that was the stanza i liked best. simple, but moving.
 
The emotions are so pure and the imagery so vivid. This is truely a great work...
-Do not let yourself be trapped by the limits of your imagination. Let this pill give you the tools to free yourself.
