^ That sucks, man! Feel better soon!

On a lighter note, I tried blending some oats into my smoothie! And, guess what? ...I'm still alive! :D It was actually really yummy and highly enjoyable, except for its rather gritty texture which was unavoidable due to the fact that I had to use steel cut oats. But, I have certainly overcome my skepticism of raw oats.

Finally got my appetite back, thank fuck after the dreaded incident.

Just ate a large whole chicken and a metric fuck-ton of potaters'n'carrerts

I do like your units of measurement attempty =D
I just ate a metric fuck ton of braised lamb, with some baked polenta and green beans and it was yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmm!!!!

Why thank you adelady m'dear.

Your meal sounds nice and hearty and wholesome and shit yo! I've never actually tried polenta though.

About to sit down to some haggis and clapshot!

Polenta's fun. Often I'll cook up a big bowl of it for breakfast, stir in some chopped dates, and plop a couple poached eggs on top. A little salt, and you have yourself a meal.

It's really simple to prepare, in its most basic form. All you do is boil some cornmeal in water for like, 10 minutes.

^ I'll be there in a jiffy. Alls I hafta do is make me a boat out of all the empty cardboard cornmeal boxes I been savin' up, and hit the high seas.

As you can see from my post edit, however, you won't have trouble making it yourself if my boat gets capsized!

Sounds like we're gonna have polenta of fun....

...

I'm sure I have cornmeal in the cupboards actually.
But then, don't we all have a bit of cornmeal in our cupboards?

I make my polenta extra yum, and use milk instead of water... yum... and if I'm feeling a little gourmet and shit, I add some parmesan...

Just made beautiful brunch... 2 poached eggs, with mushrooms, baby spinach and tomatoes cooked with a tiny bit of olive oil, on multigrain toast with avocado (excellent instead of butter!) and a dollop of whole egg mayo on top (my little treat!).
Housemate got lucky and got breakfast made for him too.

^ Wow, that sounds delicious.

I just had some quinoa salad, and then some peanut butter on celery. I think I'm gonna go find a bit more to eat, as I'm not quite satisfied yet...

White rice, blended raw egg yolk with olive oil and seasonings (peppercorn, salt and chicken bullion).

Kale / ginger / peanut / tamari salad.

A few concord grapes (my favorite variety!).

And a nice refreshing glass of coconut water! Man I love that stuff!
