Kratom itself is VERY safe when it comes to overdose issues, it's the amount of semi-synthetic and pure isolated alkaloids in these extracts that are the problem. Think about it, if a chemical has a very slight effect on respiratory depression, if you take enough eventually it will cause problems. Couple this in with the ability to take as much as you want without vomiting it up immediately like you would plain leaf and you've got yourself an easy way to die. To top it off nobody knows exactly how potent or even the identity of these synthetic analogs used in these extracts. Some dummy with no tolerance or even a child that gets a hold of someones potent extract like FST is bound to be the first to OD and this will be a sad day as there's bound to be some sort of media coverage, and being in the US, likely emergency scheduling. A bottle of FST is tiny, sure the sheer number of chemicals it may take to die may be alot, but the amount of liquid required to potentially cause problems is nothing.
