laying in a bed instead of the clouds
a glimspe of her at sunset, brings temperary warmth
yearning for sleeps tender embrace, a kiss from the sun,
a blanket like heat to warm my tattered soul

I can close my weary eyes
no tears left to cry
only a weary sigh
as quiet as dust in the wind

I dive deep and drown, my sorrow, a pit
of waste, I'll fill it for now,
no light when i'm down.
i see a glade from my place in shade,
and in It I am
Bathing in her rays the sun
my frostbit heart has thawed, and continues to beat
yet wary of being burned, i pray for the right turn in
my fork in the road. I follow my path......

as i wake the playground swings slow to a standstill,
another woefull forgottendream
