Didn't have to put it that way. It's straight and no B.S. but it's not like I am still doing it and continue to do so. I have stopped and will not go near that place again. I am starting to suffer the consequences ..

it's been since I posted that I haven't gone near the jugular. Although I am eager to do it. It's addicttive because you feel the instant rush!
 
Why such morbidity?

Bro..i am in a similar boat as you are. I slam h,coke, oxy, and rit's regularly. In fact today I shot some H earlier and just barley got a register. I have been slamin rits and coke for the last 3 days, at least 10-20 times a day. Right now my arms are bloody from BS sticks. I am lean and have lots of veins.....but most are fucked.

I have found that the best remedy for these types of binges is to run hard and long, and lift weight. When I say lift, I dint mean the gym...if you have a membership to one then hey it WILL help. The key is to get you muscles pumping as well as your heart. Do that and new vessels will form, and damaged ones will heal. Unless of course your like me, and run, workout, and slam drugs 15-20x a day.

Exercise + rest = healthy and engorged veins.

I had a couple of friends who shot in the jugular a lot. I used with them all the time, and it took me a LONG TIME to get to the point where I could even watch it.

I was going to try it, but I was too nervous and shakey. Luckily I ended up finding another vein a few minutes later. Otherwise, I'd have gone through with it.

Their method was to try and flex their neck, by closing their mouth and inflating their cheeks a little bit to get a better view of it in the mirror. The needle should be pointing towards the ground and held at approximately a 25° angle.

I wish I had more information for you. Because I know if you're hell-bent on doing it, all of these replies trying to tell you how awful it is are of no help.

The fact of the matter is that for some reason or another, some people run out of accessible veins to inject into. And I'd rather provide you with information that could potentially reduce the risk of harm. I only wish I had more information for you.

Although I don't have enough knowledge of human anatomy to give you a complete run down of the risks, I do know that there are many. I know that an infection at this injection site is likely to be a lot more dangerous than at traditional injection sites. And there is the risk for thrombosis, or the formation of a blood clot at the injection site. In addition to all of the damage that could be done by hitting an artery, nerve, etc..
 
I actually saw a junkie do this once in a back alley using a cars side view mirror to see what he was doing. Counter to bow-vipers advice he pointed the needle upward, I am not suggesting this is safer, just the only way I have seen it performed, but it was by a homeless junky in a dodgy suburb of my city. Unfortunately I have no experience or factual advice to give you on the subject. Be careful bro! Don't want to end up like the scum bag I witnessed doing this (he actually robbed me for 20 bucks the night before on a weed deal and by chance I ran into him the next day, before pounding him he said he would hook me with some heroin which I thought was fair, he ended up trying to convince me to drinkthe leftover water in the bottom of his coke can, I didn't want to start shit with a junkie holding a used syringe and by the time he disposed of it he informed me that he had hepatitis, FUCK THAT I just left).
When I aked why he injected into his neck his only response was "because it goes straight to your head", although I suspect he was trying to come across as hardcore and it was really because he had no other veins left, he was atleast in his late 40's and obviously a hardcore old school junky, that shit is real silly mate and if you have used up every other option maybe its time to stop using yourself as a pincushion, not passing judgement, just some sensible advice that is obviously easier said than done in your position.
 
I wouldn't go to that site and use the jugular unless iam desprate and have tried every possible solution. I am away from that. Believe me when I say desprate ! And I have mentioned this before that I am experiencing some kind of problems. Which makes me think more and more of a reason to stay away from the jugular. On the other hand from my experience it's do damn addictive to inject there. The rush is ultimate and for me to damn easy to do.

Due to the pressure when I bend down, inhale and hold my breath with my head turned to the side to see my jugular in the mirror. I didn't I.V in that area ever since but the consiquences are starting to come in effect. My friend is coming over to check it out.

What in the he'll have I done? This is too crazy. But I was desperate at the time. And I had just relapsed after two years of sobriety. I was full of intense feelings that I would go to any lenghths to kill any unwanted feelings .. Desperation is a tender trap.
 
You sound extremely desperate and IMO, it is time for you to quit dope when you get that desperate...it's quite stupid.

If I had to guess I would say that you were too shallow with the needle, and injected it subcutaneously. This can cause muscles to become swollen and bruise.

Try to keep a heating pad on it. If you notice the lump continuing to swell, start to itch, or become alarmingly red, you will need to see a doctor or go to the emergency room immediately.

If you ever decide to do this again, make sure you shoot a little deeper.

Actually not true- the cardoid Artery is more dangerous- if you're gonna go for 1 then the femoral is a safer bet- big gauge needle about 1/2 an inch under where you can feel your femoral pulse- but it is dangerous. put it this way, you'll know if you've missed the vein as if you hit the artery blood will spurt up on the ceiling and if you hit the nerve you will be up on the ceiling!
 
I have a question, what exactly did you mean Alpha G, when you mentioned that you were already feeling the effects? I am confused as well when you said you were also feeling "it" in other places as well? What is "it" and why in other places?

Years ago when Absinthe.thesin was a green pup, I has this nasty bitch hit me in the neck with crystal meth...SHE MISSED!! Stiff neck, yeah you could say that, for maybe 3 days short of a month. Do to the nature of the drug, is why I suffered so, as well as not knowing what she was doing.

Trust me, I know your fascination to the obvious. But after reading the responses from all these people, they are very sincere and true in their comments. I too stand behind them, but also say get yourself clean works, a brand new sharp needle helps your chances in finding a better vain somewhere safe. And just think ...NO MORE GUILT. Using drugs in a drug-free world is guilt and hard enough. Good luck.;)
 
i hit one of the veins in the right side of my neck once and my right eye got all distorted and blurry out of no where as i was pushing in the heroin, it was really really scary, i thought i was seriously fucked..... but i had no idea u could DIE from hittin the veins in ur neck!!! thats scary shit and ill stick to the veins down south, thanks for the posts guys, you may have just saved a life

Correct. The femoral is safer to inject into that the jugular, if the two have to be compared. If someone hits the femoral artery, they normally have some time to get assistance if the bleeding doesn't stop, or if their circulation is effected (eg their toes / feet turn black). Alpha G - If there's any sign of redness or swelling at the injecting site, you should seek help immediately. An abscess or infection in the neck area can become very dangerous if pressure is placed on vital nerves, arteries and/or veins.
 
Shooting into the jugular vein will give you less of a rush then any other vein on the human body. The jugular carries blood FROM the brain, and you want your drugs to go TO the brain as quick as possible for a rush. So not only is it dangerous, but it's stupid because it's the worst vein you could shoot into in terms of making the most of your shot.
