We all know it's dangerous. But when someone is desperate and crazy as I am .. Well let's just say that it doesn't really matter untill you are done then you start to feel bad that you did it.
Anyone here is shooting in the jugular vein? Shooting heroin and crack? What do u do? What is your way? And how is your method specificaly?
 
Don't be stupid, find another vein.

There are millions of veins in the human body, I'm sure you can find one that isn't your jugular.

Try your feet, backs of the arms , hands, wrist etc.
 
Yeah I know.. I ran out of veins. I keep pokeing every where and it's getting bad. I found another place right now. So I will be fine for sometime.
To makematters worse is that I have been doing it for sometime and shoot over there 5 to 7 times a day. I just started to feel something is wrong. Even when I shoot some other place I feel some not right in that spot.
I am worried and lost same time.
 
Man you sound like your bad off. Plz get some help or at least try and cut down no one wants to see you die like that. much love man

uve had ur fun on heroin. u cant have fun on it forever, unless you're willing to die for the drug. spend ur money on something else that occupies your time. like a used jetski. u can get a decent year 2000 model jetski for like $2000, and u can work on those and u can mod them and make em go super fast like up to 80-100 mph and shit. jetskiing is like one of the best feelings ever man. nothing beats a good summer day out on a bay with a buddy just jetskiing and riding the open water.

I'm guessing your not using a new needle and rotating injection sites everytime you use?

no I am not using a needle every time. But I try as much as possible to do so. I don't have good veins to rotate everytime. Hence the jugular..
 
being a heroin addict, female, small boned and skinny...i have issues finding veins that are easily accessible. but beta1 is right....rotate. slow down, the ill sux, but screwing around with your jugular...i agree that that's just asking for trouble. i've had friends who have done this...for whatever reason...some were in u'r situation, others labored under the delusion that somehow the dope would magically hit them harder if they went for the j. flawed logic. snorting/smoking isn't going to help u if u'r used to banging h, but try getting a script for sub, add a bit to u'r dope. minimize u'r tolerance, and habit. u won't need to torture u'r veins as much.
 
Even if you were lucky enough not to kill yourself, putting the drugs into a major vein, moving that much blood would be over-whelming to your brain. Seriously, They are called MAJOR VEINS and ARTERIES for a reason. Because they are the big rivers to your dried up tributaries.

Risk of OD increases greatly. So quick, you would probably skip the nod all together, and go trait to unconsciousness.

Start IM until veins can heal a little, get on methadone/suboxone. Or you could break into the CDC and steal their AIDS/Hep C strains to let the eventual happen. Dont do that.

If your going for main veins, time for another chance at rehab.

Like the jugular, it is located right beside a critical artery and hitting that would be a disaster...but I reckon it'd be less of a disaster than if you were to hit an artery in your neck by accident. That, and missing a shot in your leg is far safer than doing so in your neck.

That said, if you're that desperate and haven't checked out the femoral vein, look up a diagram of where it's located, by a bigger gauge needle and use that if you have to. Just don't fuck with the jugular man, that's asking for trouble.

The femoral artery will kill you the quickest, not good adivce at all!


get on metadone and live a normal life.... its that simple. Get a buzz of the methadone!

You are right.. Once anyone reaches to those veins it's dangerous. The femoral vein was to my knowlege much riskier than the jugular. Because of it's location and the chances of hitting the artery.
I am already feeling something is wrong. Let's see what happens and I luke I said I won't even mess with those spots.
