That Steve Jobs both did LSD and was also a well respected inventor, made him a good spokesman for a drug that more often gets associated with burnt out Dead Heads. That's why the drug's creator Albert Hofmann reached out to Jobs for comment on how the drugs helped him "creatively" and in his "personal spiritual quest," in a hand-written letter that The Fix got a hold of. Looking for support for LSD related medical research, the 101 year old Hofmann penned the letter to Jobs in 2007. "I hope you will help in the transformation of my problem child into a wonder child," he wrote.

"The transformation of my problem child into a wonder child" would make a sweet book.
If they can compile other letters that Hoffam sent out asking the same thing.....
I wonder if someone will publish this letter and others that Hoffam most likely sent out....

^ Seems like Jobs wasn't willing to take that big of a risk...he might've mentioned it but as far as acknowledging how wonderful the chemical really is, I do not believe he delivered in that department. He was probably worried about Apple investors and things of the monetary nature. Its sad but it is a logical conclusion. (no pun intended lol)

Well even if Jobs chooses not to PR for LSD now (bc of money or whatever), perhaps when gets older, more mature, and after another life changing LSD trip he will parade that wonder child and do what Hoffman asked.
