Bluelighter
This is for one of my best friends who died in '05. He was fucked up and ran into a tree. From what I understand he died instantly. Good thing. Rest in peace, John. I have written music for this but haven't gotten it recorded yet.
The Infinite Ocean
Why do they follow me into the endless sea?
Why do they follow me into the deep?
Who are these ghosts?
Who are these wraiths?
In wonder I hope the people I hate
But why are we here?
And where does this go?
The loneliest road is leading me home
Why do they follow me into the endless sea?
Why would they follow me into the deep?
Spun in my grave, I dig through this sand
If you could just feel how lonely I am
A paradise lost
No heaven or hell
In limbo I hang
If you couldn't tell
Why do they follow me drowning in the endless sea?
For each one that's sinking
The less that I weep
Each day has lost it's purpose, keeping memories at bay
Every sunshine ray so worthless when the earth has turned to grey
If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane
I'd ascend myself to heaven just to bring you home again
And if your joy had built a temple
Had your laughter made a chain
It'd be so beautiful to join our hands to take away our pain
