The Incredible Experience of IV MDMA

Despite all the warnings, I decided to IV some of what I suspect to be very pure MDMA. Here are some notes I took during thetrip:

I injected about 50mgs of mdma about 20 minutes ago. Right now I am listening to nine inch nails and I suddently got the uncontrollable urge to dance. I am suprised at how hard I am rolling! I feel completely intoxicated by MDMA and the love and
empathy feelings came on within ten minutes! I feel like I do at the peak of a roll, like an hour and a half or so after oral consumption. I hope it lasts. It's now 30 minutes after injection and I don't really sense a comedown yet. I am rolling hard. My bodyfeels ecstatic. 44:00 past injecting and feeling a slight gladual but soft decrease in effects. Yet it keeps coming and going, and the music brings it back during emotional parts of songs. I feel high emotional energy from the music.

I've also taken a few hits of weed. I am very stoned, which intensifies the mdma. IV MDMA is definitively good, the stuff I had was crystal and very pure stuff. It's 53 minutes in and I am definitively starting to come down. It is a bit moreish stuff, if I had more I'd definitively do it right now, but I don't and I'm okay with that. This is an experience worth trying, just be safe and only use pure stuff from a trustworthy source. A micron filter never hurts either. Currently 83 minutes past injection and I am almost down, but still feel a very pleasant lingering afterglow.

I wasn't sure if MDMA would give me instant empathetic affects even if IV'd cause I find those feelings don't start for at least an hour after snorting it after the rushy feeling subsides--then the true beauty starts. But I was wrong, as the empathy came on almost instantly when injected. True, doesn't last long; maybe an hour peak affects at best, but it sure seems like a great way to kick off a roll. My friend tonight IV'd 50mgs than went on to snort 150 mgs after. He said it was a great way to start an intense roll. I am jealous.

Anyone ever do this? Please share your experience.

Wow! No clue the duration would be that short. I think I remember reading a theory that the metabolites od MDMA is what causes toxicity to the receptors. That being said, when shooting MDMA its not broken down into the metabolites reducing the neurotoxic effects of MDMA. I would like to know if anyone else had heard this?
 
Excessive MDMA intake triggers oxidative damage to the user's serotonergic nerve cell fine axon terminal lipids and proteins via the production of toxic free radicals. However, the threshold dose for any lasting MDMA-induced toxicity is unknown; and the identity and precise mechanism of the chemical(s) causing the oxidative stress is unclear. The issue is also controversial. Currently the three leading candidates for guilty agent are:

1] toxic metabolites of MDMA
2] toxic metabolites of dopamine
3] impaired cellular energetics

So... if IV MDMA does not produce these toxic metabolites, it may indeed be a safer way to use the drug? What a paradox. I'd also like to add that two years ago I was able to successfully come off of my Celexa without tapering by taking MDMA for a week. After that week, I felt normal again and had no withdrawal from the SSRI's. My friend also stopped taking his zoloft 9 days ago, and has taken MDMA once every 3 days and also has not suffered ANY w/ds from the zoloft! He was taking 200mgs of zoloft a day! That is incredible. I think that MDMA is a great tool for people to come off SSRI's. I think since it releases serotonin, it is able to keep your brain's 5htp levels intact while your body cleans itself of the SSRI's, preventing any 'discontinuation syndrome' as medical professionals would call it. Also, my friend feels BETTER than he did on the Zoloft, and everytime he takes the MDMA he feels it more, as the SSRI's leave his system. I think my and his experience shows that MDMA could be very useful for treating depression and SSRI dependency.
 
Safe IV use of most drugs is probably safer than oral, but that's when done in a lab type setting

Be very careful with this though, MDMA is often cut. Molly has had some very nasty looking unidentified drugs lately.

IVing molly is pretty dangerous, I wouldn't do it every time, and make sure to space your rolls farther apart and take the harm reduction rules (dont redose a lot like this!) into account.
 
Hmm why would IV MDMA not produce the same toxic metabolites? I was under the impression that pretty much everything gets metabolized eventually, just that with IV you can avoid the first pass through liver. Same should be achievable with rectal adminstration. I'd imagine though that if it's MDMA metabolites that cause toxicity, it's the fact that pleasurable effects can be achieved with lower doses that helps with the toxicity. I mean, 50mg should produce considerably less metabolites than 125mg.
