The H*ve

Wow.. way to go off topic. Now this thread is about ALD and paedo laws in SE asia... :\

As for Asian laws...almost all Asian nations do have laws covering it. The exceptions MIGHT be Laos and Cambodia. Japan was no different from most any other nation when RCs first started to surface. Now however they are very in tune with international standards [unfortunately]. It isn't really relevant though as RCs are still widely available.

Just to stem the disinformation - most RCs are still legal in Japan, AMT and 5-meo-dipt were made illegal in march, but the rest are openly available from headshops and the like. No idea about ALD-52.

Whatever...

It is not really "off thread" but of course that is open to interpretation. anyway, threads evolve and you should always be cognizant of it. Noone was talking about the weather. We were talking about regional laws dealing with controlled analogs. As ALD is an analog, it was entirely relevant.

Per Japan, good info but I would have to look into it because if one is controlled, others should be as well. the substaqnce mentioned is in no way unique. Why would the authorities target only a couple of related substances, but leave a bunch of likewise related substances alone?

I think it's Thailand I was thinking about, but that is off topic. As to why ALD isn't available I can only guess the companies that make these things either feel it would attract unwanted attention because of it's similarity to a drug the general public has heard of (LSD) or would be less profitable because of it's complex sythesis and microgram dosage.

Not all countries legislate on large bunches of substances in categories; some simply make drugs that become an obvious "problem" i.e. start appearing in seizures, people turning up in A&E on them, etc - and leave the other, related compounds alone.

Or it could be because the US specificallt scheduled AMT and 5-meo-dipt and Japan followed suit for whatever reasons.

I know that vendors in Japan took AMT and 5-meo-dipt out of their stock, but you can still walk into smartshops and by most other RCs.

I recently took a trip to Thailand, and all drugs are prosecuted extremely harshly, and I strongly suspect the police there would arrest you for an analogue and the courts wouldn't look kindly upon it.

Also, while prostitution is tolerated there, sex with a minor (under 18) is a SERIOUS offence, and that law IS strictly enforced.

Now, somebody talk about the Hive!

One more step off the thread...

In Thailand, prosecution is HIGHLY selective. There is massive corruption in all segments of society. Police protect most of the biggest and obviously richest traffickers while many addicts take a dive...Hmmm...Sort of like America...

The standard dosage of ALD is exactly the same as for LSD. It has a much lower toxicity but equal physical and psychological effects.

Do you have a reliable source that states this?

Also do you have a reliable source that states the effects of ALD are equal to those of LSD?

I'd really like to see some documented information on dose and effects.

i've never tried the stuff, obviously, but Tihkal describes it as slightly stronger than LSD, and less "pushy" Whatever that means.
