All my drinks are free at the Good Times Café
All my drinks are free, that’s how they get me to stay.
I’m always in the corner; they like me out of sight
Fill me full of rye and ginger till I’m wound up nice and tight.

I’ve seen the amber brown walls turn to silver gray
and the dusty crimson stools didn't look that way.
Every night was dynamite before I rolled into town;
At the Good Times Café, they charge you if you frown.

Ummmm?? There's little to no feeling and emotion in this piece. It's all materialistic things...it just sounds like you're writing a 3-star review for this place, in my opinion. Am I missing something here? :S

the café represents civilization, and the narrator represents decadence.
