There once was a girl
So innocent and sweet
Naive, yet grounded
Her soul was a pleasure to meet.
Passion and emotion consumed her
Sucked her in and wouldn't let her go
Lovable, yet unloved
Her body and spirit worshipped him from head to toe.
The signs were all present
Worried, she presumed, but knew it was intuition
Warned, yet in denial,
She thought, "he would never do this under any condition!"
Now, there's a woman
He's taken away her youth
Knowing, now scared
She is isolated to her internal booth.
Pretty smiles and friendly hellos
Our woman hides behind her great wall
