I'm not sure what it offers is much better than what is already available though. I also wonder about the durability of the table, or if it would work in a large arena with bass vibrating through it. They all seem to be pretty careful about touching it.

Well to start the producers have to make better music to begin with. What I see in those videos is not going to be headlining a show any time soon.

to me, this is 'just' a new user interface to some kind of sequencer. it's not going to render producers irrelevant as those sounds/samples have to come from somewhere.

it does look cool, however.
