The future is great, it's right there.(a poem of hope)
You hear them say my life is bad
but they don't see the future,
the future is great, it's right there............
sometimes given to us on a plate,
Yet a cloud hangs around, it drapes round their shoulders
and to throw it off would be simple.
But they shackle themselves and wear it with pride,
there is nothing to feel proud about.
That mood was so heavy it felt like late winter rain
he wrote those words to show us his pain
it may be true, it seemed like it was
that aint the way to be.
Don't be sad, feel alive, feel something, just strive
your cause can be great you do have importance
there IS hope for you if you search it and seek it
you'll get it and own it, it will be yours forever, a wonderful life
so reach out and grab it, before it's too late.
I just wrote this after reading a thread in the dark side, obviously it is a naive look at one of the threads written by someone depressed because obviously some folk can't be happy just like that but the world would be a better place if they could. Anyway, any feedback would be nice good or bad.
