I am a 10 year heroin addict who recently relapsed after being clean for 34 months (well not clean I still smoked weed and took acid and mushrooms and benzos, just no opiates or uppers). My girlfriend helped comfort me through the withdrawals (I only used for 2 months, half a gram a day, smoking of Black tar heroin) it wasn't the worst detox nor that bad but after nearly 3 years of feeling GREAT the withdrawals SUCKED, I made it 2 weeks then relapsed... but this time my girlfriend left me and I'm back at my parents and life kind of sucks!!
TL;DR: I am trying to detox again right now after a 2 week binge of smoking .5 + grams of really potent Black Tar Heroin a day. Once detoxed I want to get the implant to help keep me clean plus my gf will take me back. Has anyone had any experience with the naltrexone implant? What if you got it and you're not fully detoxed but you are sick? ANY advice or input on experience with the implant would be VERY APPRECIATED!!!
BTW it's a 12 month implant so they guarantee a year of abstinence from opiates and alcohol.
