The Fragility of DXM

I've noticed many posts about Dextromethorphan are negative, and for good reason. I am a huge fan of the dissociative myself, but trying it must be handled correctly. I've noticed a big mistake people make is going too high on their first trip. DXM should be taken progressively, going to plateau 1 for the first time, then 2, and then 3 and 4 if you dare. Another factor is that this drug simply isn't for some people. It is my belief that you have to be quite a thinker to appreciate this. If you're out there to have a good time, party, and interact this is definitely not the drug for you. However, if you are one who likes to sit back and retreat into the mind, this is definitely it. I have done dxm socially and in solitude, I've learned that if done socially, you really need another psychonaut that you can communicate well with, if not, solitude is always fun.

Thank you for your input, however, you posted this in the wrong forum - it goes in psychedelics... currently there are a number of DXM related thereads, yet I will still move this over there so others can comment (though it will most likely turn into a flame war!)
