The FIRST DnB song you ever heard..?

dj hazard and Distorted minds- mr happy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PlRn5bGF_4o

Remember it clear as day, this is what got me into EDM. My taste and playlist have progressed, but this is what got me hooked :)

The best jump up track hands down. Any dnb night with this on usually has me shouting wub wub wub-wub to the sound of the bassline for the next few days.

God knows, I was aware of dnb before I proper got into it. I remember when I was 16 I worked in this restaurant. Anyway a new guy started and I found out he smoked weed. We went for a joint in his car one night, and he had a hype cd playing. That changed my life

it was either endless search or secret agent by netsky. i thought it was pretty tight, it took me a while to explore more into DnB though, i stuck with just my dubstep for a while. i still listen to more dubstep than anything, but DnB is one of my go to genres now

my favorite DnB track right now would probably be emily's smile by commix.

i think the first dnb song i heard was "pearls girl" by underworld... it was definitely one of the dnb remixes of songs off of underworlds "second toughest" and i heard it being spun at the old crobar (can u tell ive been doing this a long time, lol...) and from there that got me into like dillinja and goldie and dj rap... this was like literally as the US dnb scene was developing in like the summer of 96... n yeah from the moment i heard it i was floored... i still have memories attached to those songs of driving home from the nightclubs at 5am as the sun was coming up with it blasting thru the speakers in my car...

I dont kno if Bassnectar is considered dnb but yeh i copped his underground communication album last year n that was pretty dank

I think it was One by Shapeshifter. I was searching for Chime by the Shapeshifters on youtube and found Shapeshifter in the results; decided to check the song out. The genre was somewhat similar so I thought maybe they were the same artist lol. Anyway I liked the song a lot and started looking more into d&b. still a noob to it but it's pretty good.

I wouldn't consider Bassnectar to be dnb. It's a fine line, but I think the bassnectar sound has some important differences between the classical "dnb" sound.

Netsky - Secret Agent. listening to glitch mob pandora radio. i gave it a thumbs up first time i heard it. hear the song again a week later and go to give it a thumbs up and realized the first time i heard it i also felt the need to remember i enjoyed it. been a DnB fan ever since.
