Ethylphenidate (EPH) is a potent psychostimulant that acts as both a dopamine reuptake inhibitor and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor. This compound only has a very brief history of widespread use, and unfortunately no absolute facts are known about the potential dangers/toxicity that may arise from the recreational abuse/use of ethylphenidate. The purpose of this thread is to document discussion, experiences and gather information relating to ethylphenidate, so as to gain a greater understanding of this promising new compound.

Although the degree to which ethylphenidate is consumed is entirely at the discretion of the user, a cautious and considered approach is strongly recommended when using ethylphenidate, be it for recreational purposes or otherwise.
Note:
Please be aware that the abbreviation "EPH" is, at least in the United States, used for the unrelated stimulant drug ephedrine. Please use this abbreviation with care as to not confuse these two drugs.

I have quite the experience with dextroamphetamine. I am looking for something that I can take in lower doses to help get work done and higher doses to party and such. But if it is really that hard on your heart then I'd let it skip by.
