The Ethics of Fronting

^Yep, that's pretty much it. Some Paterson bags weigh fuckin .025. That means 40 fuckin bags in a fuckin gram, I mean not all the time but more commonly then it should be. I mean some of them weigh like .08 too, but they hardly every weigh .1 these days so you're really never getting a gram in a bundle. I used to just judge by how filled the bag was, then I started bein able to get raw grams and one day I was fillin up bags (for personal use) and I was shocked at how many good sized NJ bags you could get out of a gram.

It can be pretty heart breaking when you got 1 brick and the bags were fat then you go get the same named stamp the next daqy and the whole brick is like fuckin half the size of the last one. Sometimes I fuckin hate buyin in stamps, it's like a fuckin hustle inside of a hustle.

Also k. dre, again I don't know how hard ya boy is or what city your from or whatever, but if ya man is hooked on wiggles, I would say that doubles the chance of a violent retaliation. That shit makes mufuckers a whole diff person, one of my boys from Philly smokes that shit like it's 1996 and it's like night and day when he high on that shit. He think he's like the fuckin incredible hulk on that shit yo
 
I think you should pay him. After all you knew the shut was light but you still got more in the front. Maybe if you had money on hand the shit would be better. No one likes waiting around for their money.
 
Yeah bags are a pain. I wish dope was just sold like coke, grams and balls. Screw this major fluctuation in bag weight.

I gotta give it to all you stand-up bluelighters out there who are saying "you should pay up". I mean if I were underwater in my home loan, you'd better believe I'll walk away from my mortgage and we are talking big money there. It's not illegal so why should I get raped by the banks fucking up?

The guy called and texted today and interesting he never brought up the balanced owed. He asked if I needed anything because he had to leave around 2pm today and didnt want me left dry or sick. Interesting.......
 
Did not read all the posts but the H dealers around here aren't exactly friendly and are typically affiliated with a criminal organization and would take great offense to being shorted. You would probably get shot.

He made a deal, a bad one, but still. Id opt to keep my word and come away a little wiser.
 
Pay up

My advice would be to pay him the cash he believes you owe him. Even though you know he shorted you,you accepted the deal at the time as being what it purported to be.
Had you made more of a fuss at the time of exchange and proved to him the deal was short then he couldn't really say much if you only paid for what you actually received. But as you accepted it without much fuss then you got to pay for what it was supposed to be.
 
I'd say you should pay him for the agreed on quantity.

If you felt he was giving you light bags, you should have weighed them on the spot and confronted him then and there. Taking his shit, using/selling it, continuing to do so repeatedly, then rocking up and saying 'hey your bags were light, I'm not going to pay what we agreed' is not cool.
 
You definately fucked up by excepting the drugs and not weighing them right then and there. But then again this guy has been ripping you off so fuck him. Give him no money and get a new supplier. Hopefully you have learnt your lesson and go buy some scales.
 
Is he a bad dude with crazy connections? If not, beat his ass and rob him and make him look you in the eyes while you give him rib shots with your fists.

Ok.......don't do that, instead just pay up and take the loss, which by the way is your own fault, this one time. When you go to pay him for what he said he gave you make sure you bring up that he was light and that he owed you, and if it happens again you're through.

Yeah....like any of us on dope are ever through...

imo if uou had mentioned it during the fronting days, this problem could have been avoided.....

i agree that it is to late, so you should either pay up........or never call him again, and possibly deal with trouble.....

id pay, and leave the wiser.......like that one fellow said...
 
i hate fronting in jail,not that i been for 4 yrs, but i hate the way every one fronts as they r scared basically. i'm 6ft 2 and never been bullied in jail but i an amiable funny and nice n helpful as the jail population mainly can't write or read i do it for em and other such things as give advice being a trained counsillor and i did study criminology but dropped out after a yr, but knowledge like that helps in jail
 
yup in this game there are no ethics, just codes. in my opinion you fucked up when you got it on front, and fucked up a second time when you kept going back even after you noticed the bags being shorted and he blew you off when you called him on it all 3 times. they're called hustlers for a reason. during the exchange of hands is your chance to call bullshit, you loose a lot of bargining power as soon as you leave the spot. some people might call it a tax for fronting, or interest so if you don't want to worry about having some beef over stupid bs i'd pay the man what was agreed, but let him know whats good when you pay him and if he doesn't want to do anything about it then don't deal with him anymore.
 
most of the established dealers where i'm from will use their own money to buy the shit and then repackage and resell. the sketchy dealers are the ones who will only get shit for you if you front the cash.

understand that there is absolutely a pecking order in the hierarchy of the drug trade. if you're buying from someone who takes your money and brings back the dope, that guy is just a runner. nothing more. you'll never get anywhere with a runner, cause they have no leverage.

if you want to avoid this situation in the future, find a better source, bring a scale and weigh it out in front of him before cash is exchanged. you're not going to hurt anyone's feelings.

i mean, no one, anywhere, is getting totally pure, unstepped on dope (except for weed). You're getting shorted before you ever get started, so you have to evaluate your connects for other reasons too... is he timely, discreet, doesn't drive around in a Drugdealer mobile, basically comes through, except that he is pinching some?

The dealers using their own money to buy the stuff are the ones you wanna deal with. The guy that you have to put money up front & gotta wait until they come back is sketchy like mentioned above & is someone you shouldnt be dealing with. If he was any kind of dealer, he would have his shit together & is probably using heavy which means he will deifinitely take some goods off the top before handing you the package.
 
Tough situation. He offered and you accepted.


Tell him that you don't want to pay the full amount back and that you want to make a settlement and see what he says. Tell him to think about it and let him respond. Dont make the next move. Negotiate from there. Its probably a good idea to settle this agreement. Buy a scale!
