The end of Australian Bluelight?

I think last time I heard they wont have enough support for the filter in parliament. Ah well, just another reason to vote the coalition in. The internet filter idea is a joke.

^ haha yeah, I was pretty unsure of Abbott when he become opposition leader, but I think he's a great opposition leader, but on the other hand I reckon Malcolm Turnbull would have possibly been a better prime minister, but wasn't as good as opposition leader as Abbott. Time will tell I spose.

We had a massive scare the other day when Bluelight and some *cough* other websites wouldn't load while everything else was coming up fine. We were convinced our ISP was doing a filter trial, and we'd lost access to our beloved..

Thank goodness we kept refreshing and after a few hours it was back to normal. It really scared us, but got us to investigate other options. I'm sure even if it does come into effect we can get around it.

WTF is the Govt. DOING!!
Harm Reduction website getting banned, you have got to be fucking kidding me

There is a solution to the problem of illegal drugs and the gov, Mass Public Obedience.

We pick a date, get the info out to as many people as possible through blogs, alternative websites, counter culture networks, tripple J, alternative underground press, word of mouth and then we do this.......

every single user of illegal drugs presents themselves on that date at their local police station with say half a gram of pot and demands to be charged, millions of us, people who dont want to take in a real illegal drug could also participate by taking in a range of other powders leaves and resins all mixed up and unidentified from table salt to curry powder to kangaroo poo and say i think this is an illegal substance and I should be charged with possession if it is (they will have to test millions of samples then and wont be able to charge you with anything, it wont even get that far, by the time it got to court you would be 150 years old or dead anyway).

The whole system would collapse under the sheer numbers, and all drugs would be legal the next day.

I remember the NRMA once saying in their monthly magazine that if everyone that got a parking ticket in just ONE WEEKEND filled out the back of the ticket and said I want this matter dealt with in court then the whole court system would back up for 27 years just on simple parking tickets alone.

So imagine the absolute farce of having a few million citizens all demanding to be charged for drugs, it would be hilarious, it would work and the whole stinking rotten system would have to give in to popular opinion.

all the major news networks would not be able to ignore it either, it would a total and complete victory for the oppressed recreational drug users of this country.

I have heard this idea of Mass public Obedience talked about before, McKenna raved about it a few times as well.

It seems to me that they dont hand out rights for free in this country, you have to demand them, look at the gays, the blacks, womens lib, freedom of the press, all these people found the courage to stand up, stand together and demand their rights, so why does the drug community fold so easily ?

Think about it, then think about it some more, how long are we willing to be bullied by these control freaks who are basically just clergy with guns ?

^ This is a demonstration I would certainly be a part of. :) Illegal substances being legalised the next day, i'm not too sure I believe would happen, but I suppose if the numbers were literally in the millions as you mentioned, then well that could be a different story. It would be amazing if there was a real turnout.

It's an interesting concept. I'd take part.
