Why not press good pills in the UK and avoid the importation risk? Is it because there's such a massive market for MDMA crystal here that it's not worth their time/money pressing into pill form?

There are and have been a fair few UK pressed pills, none of them ever end up in any test centers mind though so we never really know the real strength of em

So???? If they're good word gets around and they get sold. Not every user/dealer goes on pillreports. When buying big batches people get testers. You don't need pill reports to tell you how good a pill is, although it is a very useful resource.

They'd still be importing the MDMA anyway. So there's still a risk. You're just adding an extra step before they're ready to hit the streets. Instead of getting the pills in good to go.

I guess that crystal mdma might be marginally easier to smuggle than little coloured tablets by certain routes? But some people have noted on here that you get more mg for your gbp if you buy crystal instead of pills so that's probably the main reason. Makes economic sense- imagine a profit of a few pence per tablet extrapolated across a pressing of millions of pills. Whoever presses is in control of the hype batch / strong batch / weak batch cycle too whether that's intentional or otherwise.

Sorry, sarcastic... They obviously mean that seeing the Chinese are now producing such huge amounts of genuine MDMA for export, the quantity & quality of Ecstacy tablets & of powdered/crystal MDMA available to the clubbing public in the UK has increased. But they don't say it that way coz it's not very sensationalist, is it...

Why have the Chinese stepped up production of mdma while seemingly completely halting production of 4-MMC when it became outlawed?

Supposedly the fear of harsh Chinese penalties for production of 4-MMC is what stopped it, I'd imagine the penalties for mdma production are the same?

Im sure literally none if any of the pills or MDMA we have in the UK comes from china, I think its more of the precursor chemicals to make it, not sure though confusing article.

I totally agree, the Chinese are happy to churn out RC's, new chems that are legal, but doubt there would be any sort of scale of mdma production there. Doesn't make sense.

Yeah that would make sense, they are quick to spot opportunities, and as long as the precursors are legal (?are they?in China?) they'd be all over it.

Well...there is a huge MDMA production inside China for the Chinese market. There is a large underground scene for drugs in clubs.

Only needs a good trade route. Chinese are taking over the world after all.

I don't believe that bit for a second. The UK market is already saturated with MDMA and pills supplied by the Netherlands, plus to a lesser extent MDMA being produced in places like the south west, I'd say judging by some of the pills which have originated in Bristol on pillreport, I don't just mean recently either. There's been pills in Bristol even when the drought was still in force that simply weren't reported anywhere else.

China may well be supplying PMK/BMK but they're not sending MDMA or E's over here IMO. There is still 4-MMC being produced in China however, so wouldn't surprise me if they do produce MDMA aswell, but probably more for the Asian market.

Yes the blueprints were destroyed they caught fire in 1995.They forgot to make a copy so its been guess work ever since until last year someone found the formula on the back of a flyer inside a shoe box of mix tapes.

A lot of the pips and things are coming from China. Why do you doubt this? I know that (or thought I knew) Meph was originally from China. I have no source for info and am open to be corrected if that's not true and you know otherwise?

Once it got big, the prices they charged went up, as you would expect.... before it was just this chemical, and when the ban was looming they starting talking about other 'chemicals' they could produce..... its why the Govt is finding it hard to keep up.
