I've checked the archives, Google, and fuggin Yahoo but no luck. Anybody have the golden knowledge of the whereabouts of the mythic bible of substance fun?

That's TAOS v. 1, apparently. V. 2.0 is a book. Don't worry, xeroxed copy of the manuscript should turn up on e-bay someday if PhreeX keeps going through temps the way he does. 8)
Anyway, as I'm sure he's going to say, he's not finished with it. He's currently busy polishing it to a shiny luster. He's reanimating the corpse of Walt Disney to do the illustrations. He's translating the orignal Sumerian text off of the clay tablets. Something like that.
I'm sure he'll let us in when it gets published.
 
Here is the deal -
I am going to publish it online for free, the publisher deal is just bullshit.... it's almost done - in fact it really is, but I am just not happy.... v1.0 (written about 5 years ago) SUCKED and I want to cover ALL MY BASES ...
Here is the thing - I am going to be kinda script with who gets it (or so I will try) .. I don't want idiot greenlighters getting their hands on it and ruining some of the great scams I have in there...
I am publishing it in TWO PARTS -
1) Fast scams - shit like ER scams ... you want dope tonight? You can have it in a few hours...
2) Long term - you want a monthly supply of OxyContin for the rest of your life? Well, it may take a year to pull off but I will explain it...
Yes, there are going to be graphics and shit like that.. images and all kinda of cool stuff ... I want to do it as an Adobe PDF file but I dont know how to do that - anyone care to help?
 
Someone said you can go to Adobe's site and convert files to PDF for free, but I don't know if that is true. I made PDF files before on Macs back in high-school, it was as easy as printing out your file. However, I'll bet you aren't using a mac. If you want to go all-out with links and shit, get Adobe Acrobat. (Not Acrobat Reader)
 
Well this all depends on what format you are starting it in and what kind of features you want. If you want links chapters and all that jazz you are probably going to have to find someone with the pay version of acrobat (I am sure someone here legitametly or illegitametly has access to this).
If you have it in postscript format there are readily availible free programs to do the conversion (ps2pdf for example in linux).
Just a thought, if you are preparing this in word format or something similar and want to keep some of your personal identification secret be carefull. Word throws in a fuckton of personal info in the document format that doesn't require much computer skill to uncover. I don't know for what programs this survives the conversion to pdf though.
