It's about 8am when you see who the cheesey quavers are and who the looned out posy in the morning are. The parties I went really got into gear about 7am, you were left with about a 1000 disciples, mostly the same people. The proper Hardcore and Techno kicked off and didnt stop till at least 1PM, loved the mix of people and the consensus that just being who you wanted to be and dancing how ever you wanted, as long as it was giving it all you had .

This is the only video evidence of me that I know of but I'm not saying who or when, proper party, 1 nation, 1 Tribe, 1 Beat, 1 mind...power though Unity..and all that. It's a shame the music isnt what that DJ was playing, the man is a proper DJ IMO, THD (The HardCore Disciple)

Yeh, £5 bags... And they were also usually paper wraps, not bags. I never scored gear in proper bags until around the mid 90s. And yeh, everyone used to have a drag on a ciggie after a toot - I've not seen that for ages now
 
yup paper wraps like coke, mid 90's got my first 'balloon'. In the 80's befor mobi's use to score at peoples houses most of the time.

LED watches so inefficient you had to press a button to see the time. LED calculators. The Commodore ZX81 home computer with a whopping 1K of memory which we had to learn 'basic' to be able to use, Simon, Pong and donkey Kong, Space Invaders, Galaxian, Frogger and Pac Man, celebrating your 18th birthday in your local pub that you'd already been buying beer from for several years, pubic hair on women, listening to old farts banging on about how much better it was in the old days...
 
I do remember Spangles at thruppence a pack - and thruppeny bits :)

2000AD was good.

The first 'computer game' I remember was one of those ping-pong games, as a low table in the students' union in college, circa '73 . . .

Some things were better then but lot's better today - ever been so and always will <3
