I love EADD and all the members and staff that make it what it is. Here's why: I love the dailiness of the EADD community--it's like a comfortable neighborhood. People greet each other, sometimes just in passing, sometimes sticking around for a longer chat and either way there is a real sense of caring. People argue and even dislike each other and yet, like in any good neighborhood,
coexist, without too many serious altercations. Add to that the highly developed art of making everything better with humor--lowbrow, highbrow, dark or infantile, the humor doesn't get any better than here in EADD. I admit to being a complete anglophile based on one thing alone: humor. A British accent is used to convince americans to buy anything, imbibe anything or do anything. Many a shoddy insurance policy has been sold because a guy in a tweed jacket with a British accent said to buy it. While the accent alone does not make me think as a group you are smarter as the advertising world would have me subscribe to, I would say that based on humor alone, I accept the stereotype as fact!
