MDB, if I ever want to use like umlauts or accents or any other character or modifier that's not used in English, I just Google a word it's in, then Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V.

I don't know if you lot are being woofters or if I just have no sense of taste, but dumping a dose in a glass, adding a bit of water, giving it a swirl, then necking it, with another glass of drink to wash it down, was always fine for me.
 
I prefer to think of it as an adventurous palate. I eat a lot of offal and pickled things.

Good grief no. KLF = great manipulators of situationist philosophy and makers of some of the best dance music in the 90's (ok, some crap too, but forgivable crap)

Inspiral Carpets = one of the most depressing indie bands ever, though still with a couple of good singles.

Mu Mu. No comparison.

KLF burnt all their money. Radical. They also gave £40K to a friend of ours (just in time before they burnt it). But further fact, Jimmy Cauty made a lot of money off the Athena Hobbit poster. A lot. I don't think this was burnt. Which is why Jimmy Cauty can still afford to drive armoured vehicles around his acres in the countryside, playing loud music and pissing his off his neighbours with the rockets he sets off.

Inspiral carpets are still learning how to smile, bless them.
 
I quite like the inspiral carpets :( I never really spent much time researching the KLF, to be honest I think their music isn't up to much :D I know about the money burning and Illuminatus etc, all seemed a bit like they were trying too hard to be "out there".

But I'm sure if I looked into them a bit closer I might feel different. Or if they gave me £40k. I'd be all for that!
 
Some stuff they did was off the mark knock, but they did a lot to make people think about redefining art - and they challenged the traditional idea of the financial system. I don't think they tried to be 'out there'. I think it was a natural position for them to take. They were still living in squats while making number one singles ( a method for which they gave accurate rules to success which worked at the time.) Just about everything they've done since has fitted in to their absurdist philosophy on the meaning of art and life. They mean what they do. They simply are 'out there' without trying.

Kopyright Liberation Front. All samples used were used without permission. Ultimately this cost them millions too (and control over their songs). They don't appear to care about this. Cool in my book.

Can honestly say I was not expecting to find a KLF discussion in the Kratom thread - gotta <3 EADD for staying on topic at all times :D

Did I mention I had virtually all of the early KLF stuff on vinyl at one time? Of all the things heroin took from me - my KLF vinyl is still one of the sorest points :!
 
I'm sure you're right, they just never grabbed me. I've nothing against them :D I've just noticed I've got Chill Out. I'll have a listen. But It's not really about the music per se is it, it's about what they did at the time they did it, and that time's gone, I missed it. woosh.

Tell you why I never liked them, that twangy guitar. RIght turn off for me.

Nah, quite often I'll just nom it straight from the teaspoon, and wash it down with a drink.. they're just being wusses, I think.

I hate to admit, but I employed Kenny's method of chewing the fuck out of the stuff (I had powder). Put the lot of it into a glass, added a bit of water, swished it round and then stuck it in my gob. Swished and chewed some more then filtered the water through my teeth like some drug-addled whale and chewed the rest for a while before swallowing. Taste didn't bother me, just texture.

Started with 5g of Bali and after a few hours wasn't where I wanted (fairly stimulated in a cosy way but wanted to chill more) so added 3g (samples weren't exactly measured as my scales informed me) of EUI or something? And after a while that had me nodding out a bit while not really concentrating on stuff but was also able to focus very easily and stayed up well past my bed time (1am!) and then fell straight to sleep.

I had the rest of the samples this morning (just over 5g total thanks to underweighed samples) and got a fair lot of shit I had to do done and am now content to sit around typing this and listening to music where otherwise I'd be edgy.

Going to order some more on Monday but would ideally like one lot that is primarily sedating and one that is more stimulating, as I did enjoy the stimulating effect during my first dose and got quite talkative. So I've done my research, chosen a different vendor as one I ordered from wasn't very specific with strains or effects and they were underweight. Also done a lot more research on strains so decided what I'm gonna get.

kratom works on me like one of the best stims ever, its a nice relaxed and smooth stimulation, not like caffeine stimulation which is stressy and rush rush rush, must get 10 things done all at once by a certain deadline. There are no stressy self imposed ridiculous deadlines with kratom.
 
Try Thai kratom or Maeng Da if you have some extra cash Snolly, they're the two most stimulating varieties.

Usually they say red vein is more sedating, but I have a feeling it might just be marketing.
 
yeah ive got red vein thai this time, it seems to be far more stimulating than red vein borneo, that gave me a nice warm relaxed fluffy headed cosiness. I'm gonna order more of that, except stocks seem to be running out on the sites that i know of. That seems to be the most popular and highly recommended strain.
