No i didnt phrase it right. Yes they chill you out but the sleep is not restful. Hard to explain...
like being asleep after a long night boozing. Yes you sleep 8h but still feel ran over by a train

IME that comes with too high a dose.
Their effect is subtle (4mg Alprazolam etc., aside) and close to undetectable for the most part. At least at therapeutic levels, especially given increasing dosages are usually far from linear with increasing recreation.

The dependence sucks, truly.

Monday: No sleep.
Tuesday: No sleep.
Wednesday: Slept.
Thursday: No sleep.

My benzos didn't turn up and I'm on Day 4 without them - gonna try and give them up entirely, otherwise this WD has been pointless.
