Its usually a pretty good drug used as per doc's advice but it may be that your on too high a dose if your getting those kind of symptoms
Nah, I'm only on 900mgs a day, I'm like this with meds, my body doesn't like them as a rule and finding ones I can tolerate is often a long process, I can tell this isnt going to get any better. I was on Amiltriptyline before as an AD and party as a nerve pain treatment for a good while prior and was OK with it, I'm going to go back on it and just see how the pain is. I'm on morphine for 'normal' pain'
Looking at the NHS site, which is pretty good for info, I'm getting acute versions of about 70% of the 1 out of 10 side effects. I'm no hypochondriac and have tolerated side effects worse than this before for much longer to gain the benefits but this stuff is leaving me unable to work or drive and I need to get back to both ASAP, partly to get my work sorted but also because I'm going fukin stir crazy stuck in the house trying to work.
My dos won't argue he knows If I'm saying it's intolerable, then it's intolerable. I have a decent relationship with him and try to be honest, I asked him not to prescribe me anymore Oramorph, I liked it a little too much and whilst it's not exactly hardcore in terms of opiate products, I've been on opiate pain killers 2 years and need to keep that problem to a minimum.
I've got my Zoromorph, so when then kicks in I'm going to attempt a short trip (crutches still required) to the shop down the road to sort out the admin for
my medication, Wish me luck falling over could be messy
