This is one of those tracks you either know about or not.
EPMD were giants i was gutted when they split up and it was messy as well Erik went on to do Def Squad with Redman n K - Solo etc.
What folk don't know is Erik produced most of their shit . The Green Eyed Monster;)

Indeed. Anyone remember Mike Allen from Capital? When i used to smoke dope,we would always tune in to his show because it made us laugh,but as i said the only two hip hop tracks i grew to like were 'The Show' and 'Rock the Bells',there may have been more,it was a long time ago.Good dj for this style btw.None of this fake wigger shite.

It really isn't my choice of music,along with reggae,but this new hip hop (not quite sure why they even call it so) is gloomy and dismal.

Thank fuck for Goldie Lookin Chain,injecting humour into rap,funny as fuck.

New Nas album has leaked, sounds ok from the tracks I have heard in the last few weeks.
 
I dont even know what it is but I dont even really listen to Nas' newer shit.

Like I have listened to it a few times, and its not bad, but I guess its just such a far cry from Illmatic through Stillmatic that I just cant get into it.
 
His last few albums have been complete garbage, I can't not check his new stuff tho he is one of GOAT's
 
I want a Nas/AZ collab album, that would be pretty sick

I mean they were on so many of each others tracks anyway

with better production than The Firm album, that had a few hot songs but I wasnt a fan of the majority of the beats
 
Nah I fuck with Freeway, I thought I posted one his of songs when I was talking about Just Blaze in the other thread but I might have changed Flipside for a different song. That beat was hot, though if you aren a fan of Dipset im not sure if youd like Flipside.

He kind of fell off the map right as Meek Millz was on the come up though.

Speaking of Meek Millz, you think he likes Bugattis?

If it was part of one of those lists i wouldn't have seen it man !!

I wasn't big on THe Roc but Freeway and that Album was something else . I think it pissed of JAy n the rest cos it was a street Album that was bumped all over.

I thought his full conversion to Islam kinda had alot to do with him falling off .
I don't really listen to Meek Milz so can't comment on him .

New nas album is shit I thought. Tried listening to it again this morning, most boring album I have heard for a while.

Listened to illmatic straight after and that is a million times better.
