Why have I only just seen this thread?!?!
Always been into Hip Hop

My first favourite album was Cypress Hill's IV (The one with skeletons doing the "See no, Hear no, Speak no evil" on the front cover) and one tunes that's stuck with me through the ages is
Audio X (we gonna blow yo heeeaaad up, synthetic blows dey gonna make you geeeet up, give me any rekkid n I'll flip it indie style,
Niggaz can't help it, cause they bumpin the shit looouud!) ^_^
Other fav artists have been J5, Braintax, Skinny Man, Rodney P (most of the Low Life Records lots really), Dialated Peeps, Wiley (his stuff on the lables that haven't said "we want this from you" has been quality), obviously Mr. Manuva...
Hands down, best UK Hip/Trip Hop label has to be Ninja Tune. I mean...
Bonobo & Speech Debelle - Sun Will Rise ... It just makes you wanna sit back, relax and smile ^_^
Flying Lotus and Samiam have been really really interesting ever sinse they came on the scene and have continued to put out amazing music

The stuff coming out of LA at the moment actually have some of the most interesting takes on Hip Hop I've ever heard.
Shlomo - Hot Boxing the Cockpit - Really wonked out stuff, like Dj Q-Bert on Ket
Then obviously you've got all the Turntablists like Q-Bert, Shadow, Babu, Yoda, Kid Koala (Ninja Tune once again!), Rob Swift, Kentaro, Food,
Krush (One of my favourite all time tracks - "Song 1" from the ablum Zen).
Gunna stop goin on now
