seriously thinkin bout getting a bottle of Bells Codenie is only afree bus journey but i have dome 80lms .

It won't work will it Shambles

The meth has blocked my receptors init ?

Codeine linctus ain't gonna do shit when you've taken methadone today, Brimzini :\

Probably would do if you took it tomorrow before your 'done though. I actually always found codeine bizarrely effective at holding me for some reason. I know it's piss-weak in the grand scheme but it really does seem to work surprisingly well at holding folk for some reason :?

mu should ask to see another gp shammy ! but once they got u on their fucking notes one look at the screen and they like erm here u go here are some co codamol and 3 2mg valium :/

No point unfortunately. This is the only GP in town who will even see me at all. The others can barely bring themselves to print out a repeat prescription when I've been forced to see them on occasion - will usually only print out a single day's worth if they do. The GP I see is the decent one who has always been good with me - has scripted me codeine, diaz and temaz solidly for ten years now and I've never once fukked him about or asked for it to be upped or owt.

To be honest, it's really not him making the decision here it's the government clampdown on repeat scripts - and especially opi and benzo scripts. They're being phased out for everyone pretty much (aside from for drug dependency). He's actually held back on it for ages - was originally gonna taper me last year (or maybe even the year before) when new guidelines first came in but I managed to talk him round. Seems like he's been properly overruled now by the other docs in the surgery and with the consultant flat-out calling me a drug-seeking junky it was just the perfect excuse to get rid of me and send me back to junkydom :\

Also, that's properly shit about your auld man (and mother too for that matter). Is disgusting the way the medical profession treats people who've had dependency issues in the past - no matter how far in the past or what - or for how long - they have done everything asked of them to demonstrate that they are playing the game and not taking the piss. Inhumane so it is frankly.

It's like loads over the counter

Oh yrah that be 4 my students & Scroungers Cos you both don'y pay

Yeah it's like if you actually pay into the NHS you have to pay for prescriptions but if you don't contribute, it's free!

If you ever become unemployed and ill at the same time I'm sure you won't trouble the health service for treatment!

That's not what I said though! I simply stated fact without judgement.

The US Postal Service delivers the mail and the Royal Mail delivers the post

No, I'm happy paying the 7 quid or whatever it is

Moving to Wales is kinda drastic, I admit. Lobby your MP to sort it out so the English health service is as user-friendly as the Welsh version instead ;)

My doc is happy to put any OTC products on prescription for me so I don't have to pay for 'em. Comes in handy too cos pharmacy prices are nuts for plenty stuff 8o

Clarityn used to make me laugh. Used to get them for hay fever, still do occasionally. 100 for free on script or £4 for 6 in the chemist.

Good point! I really should ask for some anti-histamines on prescription cos they do cost a bleedin fortune OTC 8o

Was chuffed to start getting Gaviscon pills on prescription recently cos they ain't cheap either and I get through a shitload.
