Eeeeep! That sounds proper painful Pagey! And yeah, I've learned my lesson now (only took it happening twice in separate events) 8)

The Dr. actually said:

And not in a sarcastic "Fuck you, boy! I'm the doctor! way :D

So yeah - A course of Flucloxacillin and just had to use Ibuprofen to help with the pain and swelling. It's better now - still have a lil' "wound" and my wrist clicks when I rotate it in a certain manner - But I'm fine

Today though - yet again - my left knee is fucked again and other joints are hurting a bit. And I've been rambling around loads lately so I don't know what's going on :?
Fuck's sake :|

I'm glad to hear your bite is sorted out! Or on the way to be sorted out at least. Less glad to hear about your joints, you really aren't lucky with that are you :( no progress on that front with the doctors? Wish I had something more helpful to say, but good luck <3

Righty I need to vent a bit. My muscle relaxants for my neck have been discontinued because they were benzos and I'm on alprazolam for other things now and couldn't be on both; and I've stopped asking for my DHC prescription since I'm in the early stages of quitting opiates and don't want possible triggers lying around and all that. So those things + new office job where I'm just sitting at a desk for 10 hours in a row every day = neck pain is going back to the levels of right after the accident :( except back then I was getting oxys to deal with it. I don't think my neck/shoulder/back muscles have had a second to relax in the past month or so and since last night a nerve's been stuck between two cervicals so I've been getting shooting electric pains through my head and down my spine/arms every few minutes for the past 15 hours or so. They typically only last like 30 seconds so this is fucking new and not so nice :| annoyingannoyingannoying.

Monsta for a young guy you don't half suffer with some nasty stuff .

Jah Bless you Man %)

Cheers Brimz - I n I be irie %)
Yeah it's a bit annoying really lol 8)
Quite a few peeps in my family have painful joints in some manner or another and I've been wondering if I should go get an X-ray, but my Bro went for one and - with it being an X-ray - it couldn't tell the Docs much beyond speculating that it was to do with his ligaments or tendons or cartilage.
And I asked him (while practically knowing the answer already) if they'd do a CT or an MRI scan, but in the end it's not cost effective :|
But I may go for an X-ray so atleast I can get a general idea of waagwaan.

Today I've had more Codeine than I should have and smothered my knee and surrounding muscle area with lots of this Mentholated Muscle Gel stuff, which has done practically bugger all aside from making my left leg smell nice =D

Gaaaahhhhhh that must hurt fucking fire-and-brimstoney Pagey!!! 8(
Have you ever tried out Buprenorphine trans-dermal patches before?
I know that you want to quit Opiates in general, but it would manage your pain for very, very long periods of time before having to put on another patch :)
So maybe that + Pregabalin would be a good transfer from DHC + [Other Benzo here] :?
Definitely worth looking into I think anyway :)

Nice to see you around Monsta. <3

Ok. Three weeks on and I'm still jizzing blood. Any horror porn producers out there? Still pissing the occasional flotsam and jetsam directly out of my cock. My cock hurts constantly. Pissing hurts and I do that about 5-6 times a night meaning little proper sleep. And a steel toe capped boot has yet to remove itself from my perineum, at least that's how it feels.

But, y'know, can't complain. ;)

I am in ladies agony. I had a bag earlier and the pain relief from heroin is supreme. it's just like socrates having the chains took off. you can't know pleasure if you don't know pain. bless mugz and his chicken spiced eye <3

You make excruciating pain so Monty Python STM ;)
But fucking buggering ballsheet shitters - Sounds [insert any word of utter gaaaahhh!!!!-ness) man <3
Complain away! I am lol 8)

3am wake up with the leg today, took my remaining Codeine that atleast let me get some more sleep. Fucked for a few days in that respect but I should be alright and hopefully it'll die down..... that is wishful thinking mind you...

Yikes! So much properly painful pain for so many in this thread 8o:(<3

*zaps superkozmikrainbowuberopies at all in need*

(hmm... methinks that mxe may be having some effect)

Have you ever tried out Buprenorphine trans-dermal patches before?

Ooh! They sound nice! =D

I know that you want to quit Opiates in general

Doh! :!

In other pain-patch news, you just reminded me that I know a fella who is prescribed lidocaine patches for a neck problem. Had never heard of 'em before but they sound rather handy for such situations. Not sure how docs feel about prescribing 'em but don't see how they could be abused so presumably shouldn't be too hard to get scripted. Might be worth speaking to your doc about that or see if there us anything similar that might help, Pagey?

Am in a vaguely similar quandary myself cos I really would rather avoid having to take opies on a regular (which they'd kinda have to be unless/until summat changes with my particular painful stuffs) basis cos being dependent on opies is being dependent on opies... Although I do think that using purely for medicinal purposes is somewhat different from purely recreational/habitual use. Having opies around is always gonna involve some recreational use though (not a huge problem as long as it stays occasional) and either way you end up habituated. So very much in two minds about it in my situation. Can't really see any other options though unless this acupuncture and/or TENS treatment works minor miracles (whenever it finally starts). Will just have to wait and see, I guess.

As for pain, have been in horrible pain this last week. Managed to miss my appointment so script was two days late and I think I've overdone the stretching exercises a bit cos have just been in agony with neck, shoulder and back (all of it rather than just the usual bits) rock solid and stiff as a board. Most unpleasant. Was advised to go slower with stretches and to do them after some other light exercise cos otherwise they can make it worse. Which actually makes perfect sense now somebody who knows of which they speak pointed it out - you'd think a physio employed by the NHS would have mentioned that but apparently not 8)

I've had corrective surgery to my foot to sort out my hypo-extended tendons and overly high arch.

One down, one to go!

How's the internship going?

Ouch. Good luck with the recovery :( <3

The internship...I suppose in itself it's going great, but if I'm being completely honest it's eating at me and I'm not sure I have the strength to keep it going. Have way too much stuff going on right now to be able to enjoy it unfortunately. We'll see.

Hang in there. Quit and you'll regret it for sure (I hope I'm not sounding judgemental).

Having such a long unpaid stretch on your CV for the sake of your career will earn you massive points

Yeah cheers. I know really, only reason I'm still there is cuz I'm hoping it'll help with my career in a few years but yknow. Bit hard at times. But thanks :)
