Well hello my minions, a couple of you guys mentioned a competition thread, and given I am but an EADD prod-monkey I have little impetus but to create said thread. ;)

So, any ideas on the first competition?
Short stories/prose seemed a frequent suggestion, everyone happy with that? :)

How about an EADD lottery? We could call it 'Blotto'.

For a nominal fee via paypal to a designated prize fund holder's account (someone mature, responsible and trustworthy - such as myself), players make a selection from a list of RCs with silly names - or for those too lazy, Julie could write a script which randomly selects them for you - we could call it a 'Lucky Dig'.

Then we have a draw.

When we've finished having a draw and are suitably shitfaced, Julie's script randomly selects the winning RCs with silly names and searches for a player with a matching selection.

If a winner is found, they get to order an RC of their choice to the value of the current prize fund.

If there are no winners, the prize fund is rolled over to the next week.


Sounds like a winner to me, especially if i'm in charge of the prize fund... =D
 
Fubar in charge of the prize fund gets my vote - FUBAR I'll send you my PayPal for services rendered to start the marketing campaign to get you as treasurer, cash in advance as I think it maybe a short lived first round. "Where is FUBAR" could be a second competition?
 
We could do many things, I plan to have this as a weekly thingy if it goes down well.
As in, topic, share your contribution, choose winner by poll and come up with some kind of prize. :)

3g vaped, if it's decent stuff, could last a non-tolerant user weeks.
Sadly, my experience as a 3-Fiend teaches me that 3g lasts all of 3/4 days when binging, and less than that if I'm getting all pokey.

Those are three of my goals when posting in general. :)

And MrCat, I think there's stiff competition when it comes to fecklessness. Quick question; if one isn't feckless, are they fecked?
