Many years ago I had what I think may have been 5-meo-amt sold to me as LSD. It was horrific. Worst drug experience of my life. :|
 
i think there's fuck all chance that it was 5-meo-amt really, someone guessing a specific research chemicalfrom the effects on a forum is retarded. didn't sound anything like it to me and seemed to just be the "it can't have been acid if you had a bad time" crew.

i'd be a wee bit wary of the duration, do you ever take it & halfway thru think "fuck, i wish this would go away?" i know i've had that with acid when stupidly eating more halfway thru a trip. it gets to the point where i'm bored of it but things just won't stop moving about

That is also the only thing that would put me off this stuff. Don't think I'd ever want to be under the effects for that long. Things to do and a bit much for moi anyways.

Not sure about that though FD, it's one thing wanting to get rid of the meph bellends mithering you for the next shittty product but it's another to effectively shut your business down because of it.

Besides, I'm not overly convinced your common or garden Meph Bellend would have any interest in AMT - there's enough sites out there selling shite with the kind of daft names that would make them like moths round flames to their products.

They'd probably think AMT sounded shite because it wasn't called Super Green N-are-GEE23 and move along the net.
 
I agree with The RZA here, most drone fiends are going to be on the other legal highs like MDAI or Dimethocaine. Both of which are shit apparently. I know locally the demand for speed seems to have grown since the ban. And there are idiots who will pay £50-60 for a g of mephedrone. :|

There will inevitably be some poor cunt/idiot who takes waaay too much and fucks up thinking it's like drone. But I can't see it taking off in the masses at all due to duration.

Two different things Lazyscience, check Erowid.com for the differences in effects and detailed trip reports etc (apt user name there mate ;) ) The 5-meo variant is considerably harsher on the body and not as enjoyable for a lot of people from what I've read myself so far.

Understand what you are saying, RZA.

I could well be wrong, but I just assumed that the vendor in question was a relatively recent one who had made money riding the meph wave and decided that the goldrush was over and opted to call it a day rather than trying to flog substitutes for Meph. I'm probably about to be shown to be completely wrong as the site is no longer redirecting to "Talk to Frank" but instead is showing pages saying variously that the site is offline or down for maintenance. This at least shows it was the vendor who pointed the site there, and maybe they will come back to life once they've got some stock in. Or they'll just sell the business to someone else.

Slightly off topic, I think that the previously legal market in Meph will partly disappear, and the demand which doesn't vanish will mainly move to consuming the same substance purchased on the black market. Sure, people will try legal alternatives but as you point out, I think that none of those in the pipeline will please the majority who will just be looking for an outright replacement. So there will be a lot of activity as people try vairious branded products, but they'll quickly learn they don't do what Meph did and give up or find their meph elsewhere.

Personally I like MDAI, but Meph it ain't. Similarly, AMT sounds great (dimethocaine sounds shite!) but none of them are Meph replacements. I think many of the people who will continue to buy them going forward, beyond some initial experimentation, will be those who would have bought them anyway.

Having said that, Meph has generated a lot of new interest in the RC market. It will only take a small % of those who bought Meph to play with other toys for the size of the previously small RC market to grow very large compared to it's size a few years back.

Anyway, wandering off topic. AMT sounds very very interesting to me, the discussion here has piqued my interest. I'll certainly be looking to source some as and when it becomes available.
 
It's been available for years. In fact, the last place I'd buy it from in an ideal world would be some ex-meph vendor. Unless they finally get their heads around the quality > quantity thing. AMT is pretty cheap and a little goes a long way. There just isn't much money to be made off it unless they churn out a weak version that needs higher doses or redosing or whatever. In my somewhat cynical opinion. Last time mainstream vendors sold AMT en masse it was pretty poor quality product and sold by the bucketload.

Hear hear. I think those who were profiting from the Meph gold rush will hardly have the right business motivations when looking for new products. :( Hence my previous post speculating on what I think will happen to the Meph market.
 
To be honest as long as some fucker stocks it soon I think we'll be ok. If you're worried about it becoming illegal stock up with a kilo - you'll have some left when you're 65 then.
 
If I hadn't lost all me bookmarks again I could order it now - there are many places selling it, just not ex-meph vendors. If you can track down 2C-x, and tryptamines you can track down AMT (probably cos it's a well-known, widely-stocked tryptamine). You just can't order any other stuff from such places cos that would be illegal.
 
I don't think these blokes are in it for the long-term tho. If there's only 1 UK supplier he's going to coin it in.

Is it a good idea to order a legal substance like aMT from a vendor that also sells illegal substances?
Someone once told me this is a bad idea but I'm sure you know best.
 
Those illegal substances are not illegal in the country the vendors are based in - no different from Americans ordering meph (which is kinda grey area in the US) from UK sites that sell other stuff that's definitely illegal in the US really, I suppose. Don't see any reason why it should be a problem ordering a legal substance from a site selling nothing but legal (in its own country) substances cos everything down the line is perfectly legal. It's if you accidentally order 2C-x or something from the same place that you make the move to importation of Class A drugs which is more of a legal concern. Obviously.

If you consider it a risk then wait for a reliable UK-based supplier instead - shouldn't be much longer before it starts popping up :)
