I find it's both valuable and enjoyable at every dose level I've tried. Not gone up to stratospheric levels but there's plenty of 100mg+ trip reports knocking about. 25mg vaped is my preferred dose - it's often said to be anywhere from two to three times as potent vaped compared to oral or rectal... and sometimes said to be barely more potent at all. I really don't know the truth of the matter cos have very limited experience of it other than vaped cos it's so damn good that way. Others hate the vaped effects.

In short, it's all good %)

PS: Even vaped it lasts 24 hours for me.
 
24 hours even when vaped? I was hoping that vaped might take the duration down a little. 24 hours is a long motherlicking trip.
 
I was just curious - say you were to take 5mg for antidepressant purposes, are you likely to run into any of the GI problems, pupil dilation or be stimulated for a prolonged period? Or is this just something you get with the higher doses, along with all the other extra delights :D
 
Perhaps if large doses are going to last too long and be too physically uncomfortable it might be worth throwing some mushrooms into the mix to add a little psychedelic oomph.

I did get some GI problems the second day when i went up to 10mg once but besides that it wasnt really a problem. My pupils were a bit dilated. It does stimulate you but in a clean way, youll love it:D.
 
Very interesting thread! Anyone tried aMT in a club setting? Recommended? Sounds like it could be a good summer festival trip. However, before that I'd like to sample and my favourite setting would be in a club with some bangin tunes. Curious as to others experiences with this.

But yes, it can be quite easy going once over that initial hurdle. I would much prefer to take this in a club than acid. Muchos confusion, giggles, swirls, and floaty goodness. To all you people putting it off, seriously, don't worry about it. Just take it. I too put it off for well over a year of having it, and after I took it I wondered what the hell it was I was so afraid of. T'is an interesting one for sure. :)

AMT is one of the best drugs i've tried.
Around 3 hours of uneasy comeup as the drug builds verrrry slowly, but it gives you chance to adjust to the intense energy building throughout your body so its not all bad.
I find then everything clicks into place and i enter a totally relaxed and extremely euphoric state, with strong MDMA style rushes and a raw electric body buzz.

Somwhere around 7/8 hours in the psychedelic effects become more pronounced and i get powerful open and closed eye visuals, very much with the character of acid. Amazing psychedelic landscapes with closed eyes, colourful 3d fractal patterns and wierd aztec style people kept appearing. I even had the trunk of a old tree next to me morph into a giant shaman-like figure which then seperated into hundreds of cartoony squashed heads compact into the tree!

It eases off slightly around 12 hours in (still feeling on top of the world), however i was not near baseline until around 22hours. Leaves me feeling fantastic for a week afterwards aswell, nothing could put me in a bad mood. All this with 37mg oral :D
 
i can put the two contrasting experiences i had down to the fact that the first time, i was analysing every effect and feeling the drug gave me and ended up putting myself into a very anxious state. the second time was great because i just took it and forgot about it, i went for a walk with my headphones and kept my mind off it.

i dont think amt is for everyone. if you are prone to having bad trips then i would be cautious because it is a very powerful, mind-bending drug.

Agreed, one of my friends i took it with didn't care for it at all. The side effects are quite pronounced: jaw clenching, nystagmus, muscle tension and i can see how they could play on someones mind.

I found smoking cannabis really helped the tension and gave a nice boost to the psychedelic effects.

Any dose I took always resulted in proper pupil dilation and speediness for a good twelve hours. The higher doses seem less speedy, strangely.

I've had it in doses between 25 and 50mg, and I just couldn't love it enough. Nothing too mind bending, compared to acid and other psyches. Best antidepressant ever!
 
I'd say it's like a mix between MDMA and low-ish doses of DOM combined.
 
Same here. I wouldn't bin something even if it was unpleasant. You know never know when you might enjoy it. I even ate pips pills, rather than throwing them away.
 
They weren't too bad. Certainly not the evil ones that keep you up for days, spewing.
