The 'stronger synth' claim (which we all know is rubbish) coincided with several other sites announcing they were offering freebase, which in turn coincided with the freebase vs. hydrochloride debate earlier in this thread.

Market forces, eh?
 
Indeed, maybe the hcl that supplier had last time was badly synthed/full of impurities/badly stored and that is why the reported effects from users were less than expected.

They can't be honest and say "we sold shit last time", so they just claim it is a "strong batch".

The state of the RC 'scene' is shockingly bad atm. :/

I don't know. I think you guys are taking this way out of proportion and presuming this is some 6-apb debacle. Speaking from experience with the older batch, the stuff was good and effective. Felt clean and there were no negative side-effects noticeable even at reasonably high doses. Yes, you might have had to dose higher than expected to get the results (which indicates to me bad storage) - but higher doses did not bring about bad side-effects (indication of impurities). The last few times I ended up first-dosing around the 60mg mark (using scales) and it did exactly what aMT is described as doing. So you're just talking crap by saying that 'everyone reports poor effects'. Bollocks.

If anything, I would say the earlier batch might have been stored badly or for too long. Unless you've taken it, you're just speaking from conjecture. I'd like to hear the opinion of those who took the 'cement grey' batch and how they would compare it to other batches they've had in the past. Because unless you've tried both, you're not worth listening to IMHO. The only aMT I've ever had was from this batch, and over half a dozen experiences with the batch every time was one of the best drug experiences I've ever had. I can certainly see it being a poorly stored batch and maybe a little weak, but definitely not rubbish quite the opposite in fact.

Make of that what you will...but I think you're both being negative without speaking from experience.

Having said that, I think this whole discussion - with the quotes involved - definitely qualifies as vendor discussion and why has it not been censored yet??

I think you misunderstand me. For the record, I sampled the 'cement grey' batch and enjoyed it thoroughly. I didn't think it was especially weak either.

What I'm trying to say is that aMT (which for years has been a relatively underground chemical) has been unfortunately dragged into the 'legal high' category in the aftermath of the meph debacle. To me this can't be a good thing.

Consequently it is now being offered alongside some of the more over-hyped chemicals (many of more-than-dubious provenance; 5-AI anyone?). As a result we're starting to see outlandish claims emerging from some of the vendors. It just feels like it's becoming another commodity product - how long before we start to see container loads of poorly-synthed material arriving from China? That's if it isn't already on the way.

And yes, this is probably borderline vendor discussion, but seeing as a Senior Moderator has participated in it I'd like to think we're just about within the rules.
 
Ah okay, makes more sense. I agree with you about it becoming a 'legal high' for the morons to screw up on. Not a good thing at all, particularly since I only recently discovered it!

I also don't want it to become too easily available, and therefore more attention brought onto it by the media. But that's me being quite selfish!

It just seems that a lot of negativity has been brought onto a batch that a month ago everyone was loving. I'd just like to hear more from those who really know their stuff. At the moment, I'm thinking along the lines of poorly stored (which would still make it damn effective) or vendor hype (as you mentioned, to combat the new 'freebase' competition).

*sigh* why does everything nice have to be taken away! *sigh* ;)

Indeed! It's a good job people on Bluelight aren't at all conspiratorially-minded...
 
I have both batches of the HCl (but have yet to sample the 2nd). The 2nd batch does have a noticeable smell compared to the first, which to me indicates that maybe not all of the aMT has been converted to the salt and hence the potential for a more powerful experience at a lower dose compared to the 1st batch. Or I could be talking complete bollocks :)

The 1st batch always had the desired effects and I only dosed up to 60mg. I didn't find it particularly psychedelic, but there were very mild visuals and a strong sense of being in an altered state. Never had any lingering after effects either.
 
Interested to hear how it goes tragiclemming. I'll be buying some of that second batch of HCl too, the vendor didn't do me wrong the last few times so I'm not going to switch yet. But it will be interesting to see how it goes.

Is the new batch 'cement Grey' in colour as well then?
 
i found the second batch alot whiter in colour, probably showing less impurities.

TBH, I only had a quick look as I was leaving the same day it arrived. The first thing I noticed was the smell. Not overpowering, but if you put your nose in the bag you will notice it. It also seemed lumpier. It was grey in colour, but seemed to be a lighter shade of grey. However, I didn't compare them side by side, so could be wrong.

Looking forward to hearing some experiences from this batch as I won't have access for a while.

anyone tried i got a sample coming dont know how much but hear it can be good any one comment on it lol
 
I have found that a light meal before bombing eliminates any BL or next day cramps, something along the lines of a bowl of soup or some noodles, without dimminishing the effect.

What kind of cramps is it? I get this weird feeling in my legs, I can't think of how to properly describe it though, its like my circulation in my legs have been impaired slightly though.

After a weekend binge about 150mg and possibly more over 3 days I got buckling stomach cramps on the 3RD night/4th day, a couple of shots of Andrews Liver salts seemed to sort it out but I was nervous of them coming back for a couple of hours, fucking sore man.

I have tried both the first batch of grey HCl and freebase from a couple of years ago, the HCl seems fine effects wise, I've dosed a much larger amount of the HCl though and not had that many trippy effects. My guess is set & setting though as all the physical effects where there in spades! :)

The only question I have about the grey stuff is how can I take large amounts and not lose my mind? (it should be noted that this has happened to others with the same stuff albeit already on fluoxetine)
