Ran out of money real early this month myself, and last month I had some debit card issues myself, not the lost kind, more the every machine decides your card is invalid kind - thinking I should start leaving a little money laying around in my old stash spots when I next get paid so when I'm looking everywhere for change I get that lovely moment when you discover 20 quid you didn't know you had :D

I found like 70 quid just over a year ago like that, I still have no idea when I forgot that much money though - it doesn't sound like much but remember I'm over in Poland now so 70 quid translates to 350 in the local currency, which is like half a month's rent.

I'm a trifle annoyed at my banging headache myself but I need to start popping in EADD more, shit here always puts me in a good mood, despite you all being moody old sods ;) <3
 
Ooh yes, do pop in more! Possibly that's where we're going wrong.. rather than bring in newbies, we just need to poach people from other sections. =D
 
Just back from my hospital consultation and have discovered that I can't have the surgery I need to make me better yet because I'm not well enough. That's annoying.

I need to have some heavy duty immunosuppressant infusions to try to stop the inflammation so they can do the surgery. But because I've had this immunosuppressant before, I might have developed antibodies to it (yeah I might be immune to the immunosuppressant, that'd be annoying!). Because I'm so unwell I can't have the infusions as an outpatient, so I'm being admitted tomorrow for 2 or 3 days so they can keep an eye on me. Also annoying!

I also passed out in the blood test room today, that's just embarrassing.

No doubt I'll do the same tomorrow when they try to cannulate me too! I'm actually much better than I was, used to be a certainty that I'd need scraping off the floor, now it's just an occasional random occurrence. Amuses the phlebotomists if nothing else I guess.

I'll take my van over to PD and sneak all the good'uns in and drag 'em over here with lure of cookies and candy ;)

Great folks in PD, one of the reasons it because my first main forum here, nice social atmosphere, and most of the good users there would fit in ace over here :D

Oh yeah, you PD guys are great and I lurk in there a lot. There's just usually not much to add in the way of factual/HR stuffs because everyone else answers that well enough already. ;)

Took a tumble off the wagon today :( Pretty angry with myself as I'd been doing well, as soon as I got home today and saw my Mrs my head went completely, I withdrew into myself, became paranoid and anxious which resulted in an almighty argument.

Pissed off :(

Also started doing my tax returns, I earnt alot more last year than I thought I did, a hellava lot more :)

I'm short by £3000 and only have £1300 put away for my bill... :( At least I had a good year last year, financially anyway :\
 
Noooooo! No 3G reception in the ward I'm on, what the hell am I supposed to do now? This thread just took about 5 minutes to load over GPRS.

Passed out again whilst being cannulated, at least I'm consistent. The temperature in here is about 50°C though so that may have been a factor.

However, what I'm really a trifle annoyed about is that because I have a bit of a temperature and no blood culture tests were done yesterday (despite being tested for everything else under the sun) I'm an infection risk and therefore can't even have the immunosuppressant infusions I'm in for. Oh well, maybe tomorrow. Does seem a little pointless me being here though.

Hope things start improving for you soon..! How long have you been in and out of hospital with this issue?
 
Came in for my emergency colectomy due to a perforated bowel (Google image search toxic megacolon) in October 2012, nearly died and spent a week in ICU and another 6 weeks on a ward that time. Then I spent a week in here on two separate occasions when I had the surgeries to set up the internal pouch last year. This is my third time in this year for complications, spent a week in January and another few days in April. Have at least 2 more surgeries to come this year now too! It's never ending.
 
Suspecting the reason I feel like crap isn't because of too much sun/heat but because I'm in the midst of kratom WDs.. which is kinda unexpected as I'd only been having it every 5 days or so. Or it could just be a bug. Either way, I've not been able to face eating a full meal since Monday night, and am now feeling more achey than when I have flu. What a delightful day for a 4 hour train journey. :|
