The EADD a trifle annoyed thread.

A mate of mine had his Dr Atomic Proto Pipe (anyone remember those?) confiscated by the rozzers when we were caught passing it round at a local village festival. When he eventually got the pipe back (having been charged with possession and supply for sharing his pipe), the stash pod still had the henry of hash in it that was there when it was 'liberatred' from him.. result =D

Actually I'd've thought they'd be really careful with something like cash. If it was enough to be really bothered about (which is apparently the case) is there not some complaints procedure or similar you can go to to apply for... replacement cash?

I've got an appointment with them tomorrow at 12 to collect it. But they did this last week and were a no show, (I live on a wee island with fuck all police) when I saw them next they claimed to be on a call out.

I took a leaflet about complaining and made sure they saw me take.

Getting your prescribing doctor to officially reduce your script is not really an emergency. I can quite understand wanting to keep them updated with your progress but don't get too stressed about it. As you say, you have a nice lil pile of 2mg pills and you never know when you might need them. I'm guessing you'll have an appointment due sometime soonish anyway? They're usually pretty regular so shouldn't be too long before you can get your script officially reduced. In the meantime you've made yourself a bit of a cushion for emergencies like if you were to miss picking up at the chemist one day - it can happen and you'll be very glad you have a few backup pills if it ever does.

They won't leave you without over the bank holiday - obviously the bank holiday applies to everybody on a script so is taken into account. Don't stress about it cos it will already be covered. Speak to your pharmacist if you're really worried and can't get hold of your prescribing doctor or keyworker but you really don't need to be worrying at all :)

... I would agree with that. There really is no need to take things personally when there's an issue like this. They're busy people with the phone ringing around the clock (at least that's been the case at all the ones I've been too - they're not short of clients and many of those clients are prone to crises). Do they have an answerphone for you to leave a message? If not just keep trying but there really is no reason to stress over bank holiday scripts cos they will be dealt with automatically.

That aside, huge congrats on dropping your dose - it's a big step forwards :)

You've misinterpreted my post. The emergency was that I was worried I would not get my suboxone over the Easter break. I collect them on Mondays and after tomorrow have no more - but I went there n insisted that I had my script n all was ok after much arguing on their part.

They usually have an answerphone but today the phone just kept ringing and ringing and ringing. When I was waiting for the duty to give me my script the phone rang n they answered it STRAIGHT AWAY. What does that say? I didn't say they were out to get me, but that they don't want me on the books anymore, that's how it feels...

I don't believe for one moment you'd need to argue your case to get your bank holiday script. Of course they wouldn't just not give you any because your pick-up day happens to be a Monday. You'd just have picked up extra on your previous pick up.

I am annoyed because I had the depo shot to stop aunty flo visiting and now she won't fuck off. It was three months of constant Carrie-style carry on last time I don't know why I bothered again but I'm not one to learn from mistakes plus it does work eventually. After you've spent a small fortune blocking the fucking dam.

edit: keeping with the TMI theme, trying to piss whilst on codeine. Arghghgh.

edit: just dropped my phone behind my bed. effort.

Fucking kitchen sink is leaking and our slumlord can't be assed to help for the next few days. Managed to stop the flow, but can't use the sink now. Slipped and felt flat on my back after sopping up the mess for 20 min lol . Was almost waiting for the WOOOOMP WAAAW WAAAW WAAAAHHMM sad clown noise to follow. Awesome. Not sure if other ensuing water disasters are impending. Good times.

I think Curious was referring to the Aunty Flo/menstruation vs. real person mix up LOL.

I'm usually more crass, I don't know what's wrong with me recently.

Annoyance of the day: Still waking up at 5.30/6am despite whatever time I go to sleep. I love sleeping n all.
 
Trifle annoyed at having to spend hours in hospital today and then again tomorrow.
On the plus side after tmrw I only have one cycle of chemotherapy left, can't wait to get it finished with.
 
Boo at hospital, is bad enough when you've only got a minor ailment. Definite plus side at the end there though <3

Annoyed because my radiators are constantly one. They were programmed and for a while when it was cold I could press the override button and it'd put it on for an hour then it'd go back to it's little routine.

So now I have to fanny about with the thermostat whenever I want heat. Which fortunately isn't much now cos it's boiling today. Waking up at 3am sweating bullets wasn't nice tho.
