The EADD a trifle annoyed thread.

Were not allowed to name test kit suppliers in the MDMA & Empth. drug section any more ! Users are not allowed to use slang but have to use the term 'un-tested' or 'tested' MDMA but if a poster asks what kit to use were apparently unable to tell them as this would be endorsement.

Harm reduction forum - not allowed to name suppliers of test kits :\.
 
I don't understand it - the kits do not have brand names - there are several Marquis test kits on the market, some have given dodgy results and could lead to false identification (which in turn could lead to a user taking a potentially fatal substance). If we were to say only use kits from 'this' supplier then I can understand it but when I usually give a selection of tried and tested suppliers then I can't see the problem?

Vicks vapor rub is ok but dancesafe testing kit isn't ?

I very nearly had to invoke the Angry Thread last night but slept on it and I've revised it down to being a trifle annoyed cos am still annoyed but not good at retaining anger for very long. The sheer ignorance of some people beggars belief. I don't really have much to add to that cos those guilty of such gobsmacking levels of woeful ignorance and disgusting manners know exactly what I mean.

Oh, and I'd best add that it's nobody any of y'all know so isn't you whoever you are. Unless it is you in which case it is. But it's not any EADDers. Very occasionally I do actually have off-site interactions with people - surprising but true.
 
I have finally started going through my several piles of paperwork. I'm digitising it all, using a bit of software called OpenDIAS (I've had to make a couple of tweaks to the code to speed it up, but it's pretty cool, does OCR and lets you assign tags for searching and filtering). Anyway I'm annoyed because I've noticed that some of the quite important things companies send have absolutely no mention of the date on them, so it's impossible to know how they affect me. Like a single sheet "changes to your insurance policy" with a few alterations to the clauses in my insurance policy, but there's no way of telling which year they took effect! Bit stupid. I'm stupid for not dealing with this sooner, but it's even stupider to issue a legal document with no date on it.

No because I don't actually care, I'm just annoyed about the idiots that decided it was a good idea to send it out. I was annoyed enough to post about it but not enough to speak to some poor sod in a call centre wondering what the hell I'm on about. Mainly I've been scanning paperwork for about five hours and I wanted to tell you. :)
 
Here's another fucking one. Smoke test for my car, registered in 2006, dated 1/1/2002 3:55 AM. What the fuck use is that? Definitely less than a chocolate teapot.
 
Rang my Mum for a chat and got my sister cos Mum must have been driving. She is so fucking awful on the phone. 'Yes?' 'No' 'Ok' *hangs up*. My Dad is the same, I rang him a few weeks ago to arrange where we were meeting and several times I thought he'd hung up because he just doesn't carry his part of the conversation. He's fine in person, but he talks more to people he works with on the phone than he does to the rest of us.

Also I turned the PS3 off ten minutes too early to catch The Hotel Inspector and now I'm watching The Wright Stuff because it's not worth turning it back on and playing GTA again for the last few minutes.
 
Deffo something hot about the Hotel Inspector Alex, new series starts Thursday night I think Snolly.
 
I am trashed Ihave to now drive to london and deal with their shitty tube strike and see my surgeon..while looking straight.........is this even possible?
 
Not if you're actually doing the driving it ain't. HR and all that - not just you that could get squishied driving of a morn like this after a night like that. But if someone else is doing all the driving then make the most of being able to lord it over said designated driver cos you got to play all night.

As for meeting with surgeon, from what I gather of your surgery he ain't gonna be so interested in that end anyway so may just get away with it - all tired and begrogged of head still is all. Perfectly understandable given the surgery and related essential recuperations. I'd be more worried about boozy breath if it were I cos that's a lot harder to hide than spangled pupils and dopey grins. Imo, ime, ymmv, etc. etc.

Good luck with whatever you are doing - I can't see anything being a problem now. You've done the painful bit and the immediate healing aftermath, is surely no great surprise if you're perhaps not feelin on top of the world still - barely been a few days after all...

As nails :D And a bit sweary. And sexy. Is a good programme in general though, I like stuff like that. Reminded me I need to download Kitchen Nightmares again, need to find somewhere with the American shows but the UK voiceovers cos they bleep out all the swearing and make it too dramatic over the pond

edit: yessss that starts again this month too! And oh my god Archer season 5 already has like five episodes I should really make a 'massively overjoyed' thread
