The EADD a trifle annoyed thread.

So, my Mum asked me to do something which I basically had no choice but to agree I would.

Pisses me off because it means working around someone else's schedule. Even more so because it's just one extra thing to worry about & I've got enough things on my plate that I am struggling to get on top of at the moment in my flat whilst dealing with the short-lived side effects of going up a dose with my SSRIs. (At my target dose now thankfully...)

Sufficiently vague but I think you get my drift. Just pisses me off that these things seem to come at the worst time/together. Give it a few days & I'll be fine. :!

hah, was watching the vid for that about two days ago. Loved it and it made me smile. Hadnt heard it before. Just been discovering the Fall in a bit more detail.

Observations: Great lyrics and theyre exceptionally great at coming up with album titles too.

Not going to disagree, but Mr Pharmacist is a cover

What are you struggling with re citalopram? I had a load of shite with it at first so can probably help, even went on Mirtazapine for awhile but made me angry, crave food like hell and sedated... I couldn't get onto citalopram quick enough...

citalopram works eventually trust me - I've a huge fear of busy roads and when I met a friend of the net last year in Manchester, I walked across busy roads like it was nothing... that's how calming it is... there again, I'm also on suboxone so maybe others on citalopram can help give advice?

The citalopram isn't really the problem...It just makes me a bit down, irritable at times whilst adjusting to it. Can't be bothered dealing with things that need done, which themselves are more the problem. I was feeling pretty good at 20mg after all that stopped... just a nuisance that I have to wait a few days for the side effects to dissipate again now I'm up to 30mg.

Maybe 20mg is enough for you? If it's not broke, why fix it? I tried going up to 40mg and I ended up lethargic - so I went back to 20mg n all was ace. I can't tell you what to do, of course. You could maybe stick with 30mg for a while and see if you adjust but if not, I would go back to 20mg if it was helping you and making things feel better for you. It's not an instant fix with SSRIs I'm afraid but once you adjust, things should be better.

To be fair, I just meant that the side effects had gone rather than 20mg was working well with regards to my anxiety... I've only been taking them for 4 weeks, so that's barely enough time for them to be kicking in properly.

I am actually meant to be going up to 40mg but we're agreed that I'll just stay at 30mg for a while & see what that is like. I have had a bit of tiredness with the 30mg, as I did on the 20mg, but it had disappeared after nearly 2 weeks at that dose... so I think I just need to give it time. I've already felt a little more lively at times today.

Thanks though, just have to see how it goes. :)

You're probably right. Good luck, hope it all works out well.

Calming <= Apathetic ;)

I accidentally set fire to it - oven and grill not worked since (hob still does though thankfully). Pretty sure it's past saving. It's easily older than I am and could probably do with a replacement when feasible.

In another annoyed news, bloody internet bill again. I'm sure I'm paying well over the odds cos it's such an expensive thing. Maybe not in the grand scheme but 30-odd quid a month (paid quarterly) ain't cheap and basically cleans me out more or less completely for the next fortnight. Bugger.

(yes i have looked into alternative providers but the difference seems to be negligble unless you can pay at least six months up front whereupon it's suddenly dirt cheap - fukkin hate those kinda scam deals :!)

Work. Fucking work!!! And people in general.

Feeling quite fed up today. Work's annoying as usual- same shite day in day out. If more workers just took a bit more responsibility and used initiative things would work so much better. Fed up with the I can't do it/not my job or pass the buk attitude- make an effort!

Awh sorry to hear that things aint going well for ya, Bob. Mind you we all have those days and when it comes to work yea people do pass the book a lot. It's why most job spec add "and any other duties as required" under the list of tasks and duties, stops people from saying "I can't do that, it's not part of my job title."

Hope things are better soon.

Evey .

Thanks Eve, I'll probably feel better in the morning....or else when I leave work tomo for the W'end :D
Think that's definitely the case about other duties in the spec. I'd always seen it as just a negative way so the employers can get u to do unreasonable stuff but I guess it's necessary.

Oh yes, tomorrow is Friday. I keep thinking 'tis Saturday because we had our local fait today, which is usually on a Saturday. You're probably right - things will probably be better tomorrow n you'll wonder what you were worried about LOL but we all have days like this. As you say the weekends coming so all's ace :)

Really? My internet, phone and line rental bill comes to just over £20.. Talktalk..

Depending on where you live talktalk can be excellent or shit.. I like about a mile away from my parents.. I get 16mb/s.. they get 1..

Nah they're alright.. like i said.. if you're in the right area..

They also offer long term customers (well.. me, anyway) the deals they advertise for new customers IE 50% off for 6 months, when renewing your 12 month contract..

Oddly enough TalkTalk was who I was thinking of. Fella I know got a belter of a deal from 'em but you had to pay a big lump sum up front.

I get less than 1mb/s - quite considerably less sometimes - despite the engineer scratching his head and saying I should be getting faster connection than he does (he lives a couple streets over from me) cos am closer to the thingamajig. The fact that it 'should' be faster doesn't help speed the thing up, mind.

Also worth bearing in mind I live in the arse end of nowhere so doubt there's much difference in terms of comparing one provider's speed with another. It's gonna be much of a muchness and mine will be slow whoever I'm with. Slow is one thing, expensive is quite another. It's cos I have to pay quarterly - most expensive option but only one available to me :!

I'm a trifle annoyed because...

My disassociated finger is dragging on my mouse touchpad & making it rather hard to move my cursor around & select things. I can't really complain though. :p

the exchange lol

I'm trifle annoyed because I deleted all the numbers on my phone - so anyone who I had numbers of had best text or will never heard from me again hahahahaha anyone who wants my number to text me feel free to PM me and you can have it LOL.... Who fancies a phone call with Evey????
