The Drugs and Music Mega Thread

Hell yeah it does! It dramatically increases the Euphoria. I think Amphetamines have to be one of the biggest musical drugs. I find Electronic music to be the best. Trance/HardTrance/DubStep/D'n'B/ especially HARDSTYLE! OMG!
 
Dextroamphetamine certainly works really well with harder electronic music, as dysphoric mentioned, Dex + Hardstyle is fucking amazing.

This isn't exactly Basic Drug Discussion material, I'm going to move it to Drug Culture, I think you'll get more replies there anyway. :) DC mods, do with it what you will, maybe its better in a music forum?

What drug makes music sound the best?

Just wondering... Iv only ever done mephedrone and I LOVE the way music sounds so much better!

What's the best drug for music then? Is MDMA better than mephedrone for enhancing the sound of music? As I'm hoping to do MDMA very soon!

LSD for me, I remember music and can for some reason, remember it so clearly to listen to some songs in my head. The other day, (This is going to sound crazy but I'm not lying) I listened to the Beatles for the first time on acid and it was beautiful. Also listened to system of a down and one band I don't know the name of. On MDMA, sometimes, I can't decide on a song cause I enjoy listening to so many different things whereas with LSD, I can focus a bit better.
 
High dose LSD. Enough to experience synesthesia. I've had many a solo trip just lying in bed listening to drone and electronic, and as the music changed, the walls and ceiling around me would swell, wave, and meld with the music. It changed my life, adding so much emotion and experience to the songs even when not tripping. I can listen to them now and still feel that infinite groove that I experienced years ago
 
MDMA for sure :D but it also sounds awesome on LSD too :D ....

I'm sure there are certain pairings of drugs and music tho to get the 'best enhancement' if that makes sense :).
 
Cannabis makes it sound better. Especially trance then im so relaxed and chilled out.

Ketamine makes the likes of the Deeper tones of Say Hardstyle and Dubstep really consume me... love hard house on it too.

MDMA is all for the Euphoria, So probably Hard Trance, Trance, hardstyle, House too. Old skool Rave tunes.
 
1. Weed absolutely. I breathe it all in, every sound and technicality's.
2. LSD i can appreciate music in its absolute.
3.Shrooms for sure. Depending on the drug the music and bands change, shrooms are always more post rock; mogwai, these trees can talk, explosions in the sky = incredible.

I wouldn't put down E, it actually makes it harder for me to appreciate music for what it is. i just like everything at that point, and listening later some of it is really shitty.
