The drug policy of a civilized culture.
"You will not be arrested for using drugs in Amsterdam."

Only some states in the U.S.A. have good samaritan laws and often those don't protect the intoxicated if they aren't deceased.

America invests so much money in internet propaganda surrounding the drug war. The Netherlands incarceration rate is ~1/10th of the United State's and the Netherlands intentional homicide rate is ~1/5th of the United State's. The American government should recognize their propaganda wars on the internet influence all of the English speaking world. The rest of the world has fewer people in internment camps. Most developed countries are at least as safe, have longer life expectancies, and less income inequality. Yet Americas leaders victimize the world with social manipulation promoting Americas statistically inferior social policies. I am off to watch a movie about scary ZOMBIES!

I dont get it...wouldnt pure white H be more expensive than coke...wouldnt the dealers actually be loosing money trying to pass it off as coke? Plus coke has a very distinct smell, heroin and coke do not smell similar at all...Id think regular coke users would recognize this right before they snort a line.

Ive always thought here in the US, the police need to get out of enforcing drug laws, drug addiction IS A DISEASE!! I dont see police out hassling people with otherr diseases, seems they only care about arresting people with this particular disease! pisses me off, its sad especially being how long they have been trying to fight the 'war on drugs' they still havent recognized they arent even putting a dent in this problem LOL Guess they are too stupid or blind to see this though.

This isn't civilized at all. What is civilized would be selling that cocaine in stores with information about it sold alongside it, with regulations to ensure the product is of high purity, either governmental or the natural free market reputation regulation.

It is just a step in the right direction, but still not at all ideal.
