The easiest way to have a lot of dreams is to go back to bed a few hours after waking up after not getting enough sleep. You can use a site like onlinestopwatch.com opened in multiple browser windows to set an alarm off every 15 minutes or so. You'll keep dipping in and out of REM, and since you'll wake up right out of REM you'll remember the dreams better. Also, as you drift to sleep prime your memory by going over the last dream you remember and you'll be more likely to remember any dreams you have that night.
Yeah, the first one shouldn't go off until after you're pretty sure you can get to sleep. When I wake up after that first one I'm tired enough to get back to sleep fast. It's important that you not have enough sleep in the first place so you need an hour or more before you feel well-rested and ready to get up again.Ah you beat me to it.. although an alarm every 15 minutes would stop me from sleeping atall![]()
so insidon is a TCA while paroxetine is a SSRI. should be no problem combining them for better results, what do you think? not for dreaming but for increasing the effect of paroxetine and lorazepam...
I remember making an off color joke (not directed at any one person, more just an offensive idea to some) in another thread in here and being warned -- it was made in addition to constructive posts prior; I just never imagined the rules here were so different from the rest of the site (I guess because the forum title is the ambiguous "Second Opinion," instead of "Serious and Constructive Non-Drug Discussion Only Forum").This entire thread is borderline inappropriate for Second Opinion but with a little bit of cleaning up I've decided to keep it in here. I'd like to remind everyone that Second Opinion is one of a few places on Bluelight where we don't allow the discussion of drugs. Anything drug-related can be discussed in any one of the many other sub-forums which house drug discussion, e.g. Basic Drug Discussion, Psychedelic Drugs, Drug Culture, etc etc.
Please read the Second Opinion guidelines if you need further clarification on this.

So many of the ways people here have experienced intense dreams are related to drug use--even the most recent recommendation to use rosemary could be construed as discussing drug use. Certainly the undeleted nicotine patch suggestion does (and if legal drugs can be talked about, my previous mention of a legal drug (DX...)I've used that's associated with having intense dreams should not have been deleted). I appreciate that there is a place on Bluelight with stricter rules and the enforcement of the mods, don't get me wrong, it's just that this topic should arguably be moved to Philosophy and Spirituality since they deal with dream questions regularly and the rules there don't preclude giving valid replies. At the moment this is like a less extreme version of a thread titled "How do I get high?" that has all replies except "hyperventilating and then choking yourself" removed because that doesn't involve drugs.
