Only 15 more days to go till Somatica!
We were so excited on sunday night so we wrote an inventory and drew our dream camping set up! Great way to spend a sunday night.

Naww that's awesome! Yeah having a decent comfortable awesome campsite is definitely a good idea!! The hubby and i wont do it any other way.

Man not long now, can't fucking wait to get my doof on at Somatica!!! Im well over due for a good doofin.
 
With the Winter Soltice crew having a break this year I have just been informed that Royal Doof is packing up all their gear and throwing the same party (well most of the headliners) up in SEQ the weekend June 24-26. If any Southerners want to skip the rain and frost for a crisp Qld winter doof instead there is now the perfect excuse.

You mentioned rain and frost but you forgot about the wind.

I love southern weather and how you often get a mixed bag of seasons in one day.

Seriously you can keep that shit. It doesn't even have the decency to snow. I would fucking love a doof in the snow. Like a freaking snow dome.
 
^That wasn't in winter! Isn't that Maitreya?? That was during summer last year man!

The winter doofs i have been to haven't rained one bit. They have been very cold, but the sun was out all weekend and the air was so crisp! So nice, i caaaant waaaaiiiit!!!
 
That would be awesome. Although access would be tricky with a 2WD. Probably wouldn't bother with a tent and just treat it as an all night rave.
 
Yeah, ill keep you and the missus in the know if you like. Not sure if it'll be this year or the next, they were originally planning for this year but then they advised this is gonna take more work than expected so will most likely be in 2012.

And yeah, doing the tent thing might be too hard. They said they're gonna do it properly - have some enclosed areas etc, so even take some blankets etc to rug up when you wanna chill, but yeah it all sounds really bloody exciting! Can you imagine how insane the visuals would be in the snow!!

They're a awesome crew as well, i went to their day doof in Feb i think it was and they put on great party.

Snow doof ftw !

A doof in the snow, make sure you get a few portable spas up there, a nice log fire around the dance floor, a Funktion 1 Sound system, lights, colour and all the usual doof accessories especially lots of Vodka !!! %)

What an epic weekend that would be ! :P
 
I left before the rain hit ATLANTIS last night... Remember 10 years ago heading to a doof by the Ishtar crew and it POURED ALL NIGHT ! Had a blast, everyone just sat around in their cars taking drugs and talking shit, getting to the dance floor every few hours to keep warm. Amazing ritual experience.

FYI: I do not condone anyone ever taking drugs. Drugs are bad mmkay. ;)

Will do chicken! I am gonna keep on their backs to make sure it happens. The hubby and i might even offer our help, since he knows a thing or two about putting on an event. Im sure they have it all under control etc, but just to make this happen....i think we'll do whatever it takes haha.

As un-doof as it sounds, there needs to be some sort of chalet involved. Hot spa or at least a hot shower would be required.

Snowboard all day followed by snow stomp at night.
 
^ You might enjoy the Thredbo Blues Festival. (used to be the thredbo blues & wine fest)

I went a few years back, loads of wine, open fire places & white powder ;)

Great times =D
