Possibly a combination of all the others though...
Maybe the Village is just such a nice place to be, you don't want to venture away? =D

no i have to work.... my only job that i have left apart from my business is on weekends (which totally sux dogs balls) but its a good job with good pay and good people so i have to stick with it and be selective of the time i have off (ie dragon dreaming/business gigs/bali in 4weeks) :D

whats with doofs in vic going away from byo? strawberry you are limited to six cans only as they have a licensed bar this year and apparently maitreya has a no byo policy next year?

are doofs going commercial?

Things tend to close down over the Summer months because it either pisses down with rain or you have to bake under the Sun. There are talks of a small NYE gathering but from what I hear they are trying to sort out a venue. Failing that there is always the Woodford Festival. A little bit larger than a doof but ticket prices are comparible with a lot of doofs these days. It is really well run and goes from 26th Dec-2 Jan.

Earth Freq in February will be our next doof and even then it is usually a sweat fest.

I'd say maitrya has been a commercial doof for several years. Any gathering with more than 500 people needs council approval and security etc these days so it kind of makes sense they try to control alcohol intake.

Personally I rarely drink more than a 6 pack of alcohol over the duration of a 2 day doof any way.
 
This sucks...i would love to try head to one wih my partner over the xmas/new years holidays.... definitely keen to experience one for the first time...been drilling psytrance into me since i discovered Lucy!!!!
 
If you all wanna doof I posted a thread for one we're hosting in the forest here in melbourne. Strawberry Fields has changed my life, I'm a new person awakened and rewired. my brain works.

Since being back I've started a business with my brother, got investments ready, the website up and running and so much more.

Oh and at strawberry you could have taken in as much as you wanted, they didnt have time to search cars lol

A good doof always clears the jaded feelings :P I haven't replied to the invite I got from ya the other day, been a bit busy going to pain clinic assessments (just got into the local hospital's pain clinic, so doing all the assessment stuff, find out their thoughts/views/(plans?) regarding my pain/injury and stuff friday week

I'm into psy/goa trance, an alot of other electronic and non-electronic music.
I have never been to any bush raves or doofs, as i have no friends into them.

I don't have a car and live 45 mins north of brisbane. Does anyone here know of any going on soon near me, or any way i cn get to these things? Thanks.

In November this year, there is goin to be major doof happening up in Far Nth Queensland, to coincide with the total solar eclipse, it's goin for 7days. i forget the website but just look on the net for it.
