They're not effective vaccines relative to other vaccines, so they also do jack shit in that context.

It's still a vaccine even if it doesn't work properly. It's just a shitty vaccine.

I disagree. If you injected saline you couldn't call that a vaccine. Or skag. Or anything that doesn't do what a vaccine is supposed to do, which is prevent disease from a particular pathogen.

As you said, these jabs are not effective and don't do what they claimed it would. They might as well be saline really. Just because it's marketed as a vaccine doesn't mean it actually lives up to the definition by default. If it's a really shitty product, which it clearly is, then I'd say the more accurate description is that you've been injected with Fauci's fat pension juice.

Just because it's sold as a magic bean, doesn't mean it actually is a magic bean.

It's called a dictionary. It's what we use to define words. You heard of it?

These jabs don't prevent you from catching the disease. All they were really ever claimed to do was reduce the most severe symptoms, which is not fitting the definition at all. It's not a vaccine, it's a therapeutic. In this case, a genetic therapeutic given it works on mRNA technology.
 
surely an immunologist wrote that definition, and didn't leave out a single detail or important context.

we now know that they aren't as effective as the cdc was claiming (and the dumb assholes told us we could go around vaccinated people, unmasked, with our unvaccinated children), but they are still quite effective at preventing severe disease and death.

they, in fact, stimulate our immune system to not only make antibodies, but also tell our b cells and t cells to snap a memento for future introductions of similar coronaviruses.

our immune system isn't just an on-off switch that goes from 0% immunity to 100% immunity.

it's like saying seatbelts do absolutely nothing because they don't perfectly prevent you from injury or death in a car accident, and might as well be a shoestring.

i'd rather get a moderately effective vaccine than go into cootie- town with nothing. ymmv (depending on how bad at statistics you are)...

and yet we still have ppl like lvg spewing dubious stuff about athletes dying left and right from the vaccine, and ss saying the vaccine is basically a placebo... and without substantiating it with solid evidence.

then you should have no trouble finding some good evidence for your goofy and dubious claims/ insinuations.
