The difference between a 'head buzz' and euphoria

Tingles and physical sensations are part of a body high (which can lead to "intramuscular euphoria")

True euphoria is, for me, extreme pleasure, profound anxiolysis, profound wellbeing, high confidence, and high self esteem all being present

But, the tingles or body rush from doing a drug is the signal that says I've passed the euphoria threshold

Smoking 90%+ purity crystal d-methamphetamine with perfect technique, somewhere between 40mg and 100mg I get the body rush, and I know if I smoke any more, I can't get any higher, more hits only gives a longer duration

But, I can also achieve a (less intense) euphoria if I mix high dose d-amphetamine with a good dose of benzos

MDMA can be euphoric, but many of you are mistaking its empathogenic effects and well-being inducing effects AND its higher sensitivity of the senses effects, for extreme pleasure
Yes, it can induce euphoria, but it is definitely NOT the golden standard of euphoria

High purity d-methamphetamine smoked or IVed or 4-MAR is definitely the standard for uncontested pure euphoria
Followed by other potent stimulants and opioids

Funny you say this, because I have always thought that a lot of the euphoria people get from taking 'MDMA' or E pills, is actually coming from the methamphetamine cuts often found in street powders and pills, the over-confidence, the feelings of endless energy, feeling god-like, invincible, talkative, overly-social/chatty, etc., all of which are very euphoric but are probably mostly due to the (meth)amphetamine cuts. I find high purity MDMA gives very little speedy effect and gives mostly psychedelic-like feelings of wonder, connectedness, love, affection, empathy, all of which are direct effects on one's mind, inducing a state of happiness not naturally achievable without chemicals, which I certainly classify as pure euphoria. When I use kratom, the best effects are very MDMA-like in the way that they make me feel very comfortable, affectionate towards others, inhibits all social anxieties, makes the future seem bright and positive, all effects occurring in the mind. When I use oxycodone, I notice the high is far more body-oriented, my joints and pretty much entire body just feels incredible. Yes, I certainly feel a strong effect on my mind as well, however I feel like kratom actually affects my mindset much more than oxy.

Mephedrone...granted it's been so long since I've had it so my memory is fuzzy...is a very speedy/amphetamine-like high as far as mindset effect goes but also has a lot of the 'head buzz' aspect as opposed to true euphoria, especially when snorted. I don't remember it being as empathetic or as "OMG I love everyone and life is incredible" as good MDMA is. Not to say it didn't rock my socks.. :)

i always assumed they were the same thing, but then i came to the conclusion that a head buzz/change = drinking a beer, smoking a bowl, maybe a couple lines of coke.
euphoria = doing some dope and feeling like your life is one big soft fluffy cloud you're laying on with Jesus giving you a back massage reassuring you everything in life is going to be okay haha

over-exaggeration i know, but i really don't know how to put euphoria into words, you just gotta feel it for yourself

man a couple of lines of coke shud be giving u euphoria bro, no debating that lol. Unless u got some cut ass chach.
 
I think that for some people, stimulants can actually be dysphoric. I know that was my case for quite some time. I liked the initial "wired" feeling I'd get from sniffing lines of coke, but I'd end of feeling to jittery and paranoid. For some reason I decided to give adderall a chance about a year after ceasing my coke use, and I really liked it, so then I decided to try IV Coke (brilliant!), which I fell in love with unfortunately.

But just like some people cant stand stims, the same is true for heroin/opiates.. I've known a lot of people that felt like the high was boring or uncomfortable. It baffles me, but everyone is different.

Why do you say that? MDMA has made me very chatty/talkative, but so has speed. Actually, MDMA more-so makes me want to space out and bask in the ocean of euphoria whereas a dose of adderall, a few lines of coke or even a good coca chew makes me want to gab my buddy's ear off.

Though, something odd... Methylphenidate aswell will not let me stfu, moreso than amphetamines

I don't think that's very odd. Ritalin has a very similar action as cocaine. Makes sense. Dopamine release might work better for one person while DRI might work better for another.

Seems to apply to all types of amphetamines.
