Thanks guys and good point YourBaker, maybe the brevity thing was false advertising. Now you gotta type levels instead of LB. Ha ha, well who knows, maybe I'll change it back someday. Contract says we get a one-time name change, but if the change is back to the original name then that isn't really a change at all now is it. I'm sure Ali will be delighted if I ask him about it. :D

Good luck jammin :-) I'm with Xorkoth in that minidosing dissos is very nice. Anxiolytic and helps with depression in my case.
 
hey swillow, haven't seen you in a while. Your mod stick really fills out your profile, congrats. It's dignified-like. Now, we talking the perimeter of your house or the perimeter of your body? The latter is punishable by death round these parts.
 
Bodily proximity. It emerged in leggy glory on the arm of my chair, near my hand. Unexpectedly. It would have winked if it had eyelids. I quite liked it but it scared me and I lashed out and scared it so it mysteriously scuttled out of sight and now I don't really like my house because theres a big spider hiding in it.

I had to stop posting here, I felt unwelcome to be honest. :\ Still interested but I can't be fucked arguing about these things anymore.
 
More the topics, they are uninteresting if people get insulted by different opinions. I can't be bothered. I like the arguments, they are interesting because they can clarify things.

Most spirituality is nonsense to me, and I come to that conclusion largely through this sub forum.
 
Haha, I can dig that. :) To me it's an internal thing, trying to apply definitions or determine how "far along" you are turns it into something egoic. I enjoy philosophy but I feel like I'm somewhere in the middle, I don't have any formal education in it so the terminology of those "in the know" is a mystery to me. But I like talking about things.

Wonder where Cosmic Trigger went to? Hope he's okay...
 
You're welcome here anytime by me Willow, and I feel ya, the spirituality is nonsense realization might make posting in the P&S forum less than worthwhile, but whatever, change the topic and the disagreements persist in life, so might as well be jovial about it all. i enjoy your presence here. I also though it was funny that my 666th post was about killing spiders.
 
I never said there shouldn't be debates. I just said I'm tired of debates and I don't think every spiritual topic needs to be turned into a debate.

It's just the way it can derail or completely shut down a spiritual topic I have a problem with (especially when it happens for almost every thread).

But I never said that goes for all threads. I just meant we should also be able to have a few threads set aside for spiritual discussion. You can still have as many debates as you like.
 
By the way, Willow. You need to get your head out of this board if it's your primary basis for making up an opinion.

Look at the books that are being published these days. More and more scientists and academics are getting into it, like Bruce Lipton who's helping to bridge the gap between science and spirituality.

This is where the world is going now. The old "you have to choose between spirituality and materialism" is getting outdated and frankly not worth wasting so much energy on. The world has moved on.
 
I don't see why you have to take it that hard that there was just a few threads you were asked not to argue in.
 
Ninae, I'm perfectly happy having chosen to stop discussing spirituality here. I'm not really taking it badly, its months ago now and I've not really thought about it since then.
 
It wasn't supposed to be a big deal. I just thought the topic was worth more than getting lost in arguments. That's all.
 
Better since I stopped taking Phenibut. It was making me crazy aggressive. Like I was taking a strong stimulant. I think it depletes Gaba and starts working more as a stimulant over time. I'm not going to take it more than 5 days in a row now.
