"You scored 20 out of 20!

Congrats you are...
True Kvlt"

Though my claim may be doubted, I in fact did not cheat and know all those "death metal" black metal bands.

As a semi-retired black metal listener, nothing irks me as much as black metal and death metal being used interchangeably.

I noticed that P&S has a rather high thread-to-post ratio. There are relatively few threads but quite a high number of posts in relation.

I dunno, I found that somewhat interesting. :\

Hey, Willow, what do you think of the idea that the devil has a consort and she runs the whole show? She's a dominatrix. :)

I turned 33 today. Multiples of 11 'n shit... I'm thinking about taking some ALD-52 tonight partway through band practice (to catch the jam at the end :)) and then hang out late into the night with my friends.

Well I'd be indignant too in your shoes. I'm impressed. I got 12/20 but mostly cause I buy furniture on a budget. I was classmates with the drummer for the band Exhumed, I don't think its considered black metal, more like gore metal or something like that. I always got a kick out the contrast between how nice he was and how he was covered in blood in every picture I saw of him. Good times.

Happy birthday xorkoth <3 You've outlived Jesus, that's something.

Praise the trinity of 11!

Wouldn't entirely surprise me ;)

LOL. That's for sure. I can imagine some Joan Collins - style thing.

But Dave from "Out of Darkness, Into the Light" is always talking about this and seems convinced there is some kind of dark goddess figure that's running everything and keeps popping up everywhere. Like all the forms of witches goddesses and terms like "The world mother" and "Gaia" you run into a lot.

Late happy birthday Xorkoth! Wish you all the best (and not only this year!)!

Welcome back levelsBeyond.

Just took 1000 mg of codeine. Been trying to abstain since the end of last week. Made it with only 1 dose in about 90 hours. That's the best I've been able to do this year. Yeah, that's really sad, but I can't do any better unfortunately. Tried to reduce withdrawals with 1,4-BD (1,4-belligerent_drunk), but it only fucked up my sleep schedule. Dosed 2-3 ml, after 20-30 minutes passed out for about 120 minutes, woke up, repeat. Was up for sun dawn (3-5 AM) the last 3 days in a row. It's a good thing I don't have to be anywhere this week and the next. I feel like such a loser, lol.

Yeah, I feel obligated to dose on opiates at least once a week. As in, nothing will really stop me. I've stopped daily codeine because it was making my depression worse but I will definitely take some methadone tonight. Its lame but I truly love the effects of opiates...

B_d, I think temazepam is good for opiate withdrawal, makes u sleepy, relaxed and mildly euphoric. But can cause disinhibition of ones desires for abstinence.

Nothing to be ashamed of. This is a brutal existence, who doesn't want to turn away at times? All things in moderation. Including blah cbggfhf.

Does methadone's long half-life make it better or worse for you? Not talking about withdrawals (which suck for methadone obviously), but for example if you dose in the evening, do you still feel it in the morning?

And yeah, disinhibition can be a bitch sometimes. One time I tried zopiclone for sleep during withdrawal, ended up pretty much blacking out and of course taking codeine too.

Yeah, I will be up very late and still spacey in the morning from methadone. I have tasted methadone w/d and it was indeed bitter.

B_d, can one become tolerant to withdrawal effects? I stupidly used codeine, about 600-1000mg a day for 2 weeks and have abstained for the last week. I had no withdrawal worth noting. Prior to that was using codeine every 2-3 days, usually several doses. It seems odd because I feel mentally addicted and I expected to feel like shit. I was depressed but not more than normal and had no urge to take codeine, I had made my choice...

I'm not sure. I was under the impression that successive withdrawals (from approximately the same dosing level) got worse each time. At least that's the case with benzodiazepine withdrawal as far as I know; and tolerance increases more rapidly as well.

I think you may just be more used to withdrawing and more easily ignore weaker withdrawals. Again, I'm not sure.

I can attest to the 'kindling' response of GABAergic withdrawal but have not experienced it with codeine. Other opiates, yes.
