Man I didn't use any appeals to emotion...I don't even think you know what that means. I'm not even trying to insult you but I don't think you've read alot of philosophy. Obviously, we are only very different levels.

But anyway you win the "argument" as you want to call it. Even though you didn't even present a logical argument. I mean't my first post to be a joke...because this is a social thread. This thread should just be were philosophy/spirituality posters go to just say lighthearted sarcastic comments to each other. This thread should help try and build a more community feel for us, and possibly bring in more viewers.

Small debates should come up but not in this serious of a tone, this type of talking should go in its own thread.

Thenightwatch- I have no hard feelings towards you or anything. I had friendly intentions at the beginning but then you said some ignorant stuff and I had to attempt to show you your errors. You can lead a horse to water but you can't force it to drink.

no for real though if either of us is being rude it is you. if you feel i said anything ignorant then i'd appreciate it if you could quote the bits i wrote and give an explanation of why what i said was ignorant. otherwise i would kindly request that you drop you drop your accusation.

you say i don't read much philosophy, yet you assume that i use the word "argument" to mean a "fight with ill intentions."

that accusation that i must not read much philosophy is so rude and assumptive... i was a philosophy major for a year... you are attacking my knowledge and yet i don't even think you know who proved that "the being than which there is none greater" must exist.

shit i bet you're gonna have to google it to tell me who said "i think therefore i am."

i used the term as in "logical argument."

the reality you're experiencing right now might be false. you could be dreaming... maybe you're currently being tricked by a demon... maybe your brain is in a vat... maybe you're in the matrix... etc.

but even despite this you are having experiences and thoughts and etc

so, even though everything else in my reality could be a lie... "i think, therefore i am"

Well great guys, my trolling efforts kinda failed. You all responded to me in a reasonable way so that I have nothing to bitch at. Thanks for denying me any kinda of smug satisfaction I could have gotten from that, jerks.

Now I have to look for posts that are too tautological and ego inflated and accuse them of being tweakers. The key sign for that is no punctuation and no coherent flow.

my other answers were suitable too. i was being serious when i said that your arguements re: my definition of god etc. didn't really make sense.
