The Deep thread

Check out this lil beauty on Soma records:

Chaser - F-Train

Nigel Hayes did some good stuff. Check out "The Prophet" on Black Jesus Records - one track springs to mind called "Look to the light". Reminds me of early DJ Q stuff (Paul Flynn from Subclub in Glasgow)
I've got a feeling that if you like underworld you'll love Paul Flynn

DJ Q - She'll Be Gone

EDIT: Fuck yeah! i just found a link to these records - fucking classics by Joshua

Circulation - Emotions unknown
Circulation - Original System

p.s. Stacey Pullen is playing at Silo in Liverpool on 10th December

Kenny Larkin - Catatonic (Fourth State) (Stacey Pullen Remix)
Stacey Pullen - 8th Wonder (1996)

Pretty cool. :D

EDIT: Just discovered this track!

The Rurals - Song of a Thousand Names (Just Deep Mix)

This is one insane track, with lush psychedelic layers and a nice techy beat. Check out the original mix as well if you guys like the Just Deep mix, it has a surprisingly fitting Jazz section towards the end. Enjoy!

i love the filter effects they put on their claps and hats. They do it on loads of their records and gives good effect in a club - like taking off in an aeroplane. speaking of which

Lindstrøm & Christabelle - Baby Can't Stop (Aeroplane Remix) 10 points to Begium for this :) need to get Aeroplanes album on Eskimo Recordings

Anyone here a fan of Burial?
Pure ambience. Pure soul. Vibrations that echo into your depths.
I'll link a few, message me if you want some similar stuff by other artists, or even get the album 'Untrue' if ya dig it. It's a masterpiece.

Burial is decent, although I feel he is a little over-hyped. I am also not sure if I would want to listen Burial when I am in a mood for some deep house. Maybe if I am in downtempo/trip-hop mood. :) Just my opinion...

I just discovered this classic for myself. All you guys probably heard it a million times, but you can never have too much of a classic:

Bollo - The Beginning Of Days (Bollo Deep Mix)

I love how carefree and sensual the melody is while the synths and the beat provide a subtle yet psychedelic, cerebral edge to the tune. Mmm music :)

when I saw this thread name, for split second I reed "The deep throat"

LOL, there was never any innuendo intended when I started the thread (as much as I do love innuendo!). I just really love deep electronic music!

Care to post some deep tracks, DOB?
